Indie Book Club discussion

This morning I got a message that I hadn't expected. I am now being stalked by people claiming to be hot women who think there is something special about me on a site dedicated to books. It's like MySpace all over again.

Anyway I thought you guys might find this as amusing as I did so here is a copy of the message I got today trying to entice me to do...something.

The grammar is so spotty I'd say it had to be written poorly on purpose. What won't they think of next?

The only thing I have are trolls who constantly force me to keep my security levels up on my blog. I'm hoping they'd have given up by now but clearly thy haven't. *sigh*

Oh, my - who'd've thought? Goodreads, the new porn portal. Bwahahaha! Sorry Scott - couldn't resist. Then again, so far I haven't had anyone try to sell me viagra on here. Give it time.

I've had a few of those messages myself. It's nuts.

Lol used to get a lot of those on authonomy.

I get messages like this at least twice a week on my email.

Just to save you all some trouble, don't bother sending the Nigerian any bank account information so you can split the fortune. Already taken care of.

We had someone on Authonomy doing the "luvulongtime" type. One of the older male authors had great fun with "her".

I'm a girl and I get those all the time. Mostly from large chested women (I can tell from the stock image in their profile pic they pulled off google) claiming to be "team bi". Like, Team Jacob? Team Edward? Sexuality has teams, now, I guess? Ahh, internet. Thanks. Thanks for that.

Lol, shouldn't laugh really but it amazes me people have nothing better to do with their time. Sometimes the anonymity of the internet has its downsides.

I've had friend requests from a bunch of these "people" as well as messages. Good job I don't just say yes to anyone who asks.
