Thanks Michael, Jocelyn, OK first of all great books! I burned through both books in 8 hours. In spite of the fact that I believe your target audience is female teens. I think this book is a good read for anyone. I really hope there is a third book in this series coming out soon. I am now hooked.

NORTHMAN, my historical/supernatural/horror thriller, is FREE today,Friday 7th Dec. to Sunday 9th. Only for Kindle at the moment, I'm afraid, but there's a free app to read it on a computer available from Amazon if you don’t have a Kindle.

Good evening to everybody here...I'm Lisa and new to this site. I'll most certainly be checking out the books mentioned here and for anybody who may be interested, tomorrow (8th December) my novella will be going for free...It's an intense and evocative tale of a young woman's emotional and physical awakening, whilst living out the most memorable summer of her life. Just for the record, the title is purely metaphorical...the book is an exploration of the very fine line between certain types of love and what happens when this line is blurred by summer, youth and sparkling wine. I hope the tale is as romantic as it is sexy...

Should anybody read it, please feel free to let me know...

Ha ha JD! Yes, I'm absolutely baffled by the whole 50 Shades thing...having got my first crappy review from Amazon, I thought that I was surely capable of writing better than EL James...but now I'm not so sure! I looked on Amazon to see what kind of reviews this was given, and it seems to be as loved as it is hated- intriguing!

I'm pretty new to putting pen to paper in any kind of official way, this is my first attempt to do so. I have a lot to learn and so I will be grateful for any constuctive criticism.

So if you you have any time and inclination to sift through a few pages, then that'd be fantastic, but no obligation. Likewise I'll check out some of the work you've mentioned above....

If you get any of mine, make it NORTHMAN. It goes off being free tomorrow night and may not be free again. It's a big read, I'm afraid and definitely not very girly, although there is a timeless romance in there somewhere!

There will always be someone who doesn't like either what you write or the way you write, so it's perhaps best to treat good and bad reviews alike. When you get either, smile and move on - it's generally not personal.
