When I picked this up, I knew it was the second book in the series, so I knew I might feel lost at first. However, as the story went on, I realized that the first book in the series was not the original Stucky case, and that was the part of the story I was most confused about. Anyone else feel like they were missing part of the story?

Just another thought on these books, you really do have to read them in order because in Book 3. The Soul Catcher, references in Book 2. become the main plot for this one, and I think it's book 5. "A Necessary Evil", the killer from Book 1. re-appears in this one.
Book 1, A Perfect Evil, gives background on the Stucky case. This series is much better if you read it in order because as Mary described above, the book often references previous characters, situations, etc. Hope this helps!
