A couple of books that I wouldn't mind finding in my stocking are We Are Taking Only What We Need by Stephanie Powell Watts and Elsewhere, California: A Novel by Dana Johnson. I still haven't picked up South by Southeast by Steven Barnes, Tananarive Due, and Blair Underwood either. And I could definitely use a copy of our January discussion book, The Round House by Louise Erdrich. What about you?
My family and friends have also found it hard to shop for book gifts for me - as they never knew what I have and it is even harder now - with ebooks. I do get and give Amazon and BN gift cards.
I have bought Grace, God and Glory: My Leap of Faith by Gabrielle Douglas for each of my granddaughters (14 & 12). I will find a book for each of my grandsons and probably for Son-In-Law.
Mina, can I add to this list when I think of others or it locked in?
I tend to gravitate towards the the large books for the holiday: Coffee Table books; Big Biographies; Hardcover Fiction & Non-Fiction. And, most lean to music and Jazz in particular
