The Forest

Adam parked at the line were the trees met the clearing. "Wamby? Alright, it works." He smiled at Johnny.

Johnny giggled. "Cooktar maj." A plate of cookies appeared in his hand. He started eating them, one by one.

Adam stole one from Johnny.

Johnny smiled at him.

He started tickling him.

Johnny giggled a little bit. "The seed is ovew thewe." Johnny pointed into the forest. There was a large boulder. "It's on that bouldew."

Adam looked to the boulder. He gets out of the Hummer, swinging Johnny up as he did so. "Then lets go get it."

"Ok."

Adam carried Johnny to the boulder and set him down. "Want a piggy back ride?" He looked at Johnny then back up at the boulder.

Johnny nodded.

Adam helped Johnny onto his back and started climbing up the rock.

Johnny hugged Adam's back.

They reached the top of the stone. He headed toward the seed.

As they got to the seed, Johnny picked it up and put it in its socket. "5 to go."

Adam climbed carefully back down. When his feet landed on the forest floor, he shrugged Johnny off his back to grab his hand as they both walked back to the car.

When they got to the car, he swung Johnny up in his arms and sat on the drivers side, Johnny in his lap.

Johnny looked exhuasted.

Johnny's eyes were beginning to become heavy.

"Hey, Colby, we got another seed." He said softly.

Johnny fell asleep in his brother's lap.
