Friends with Books discussion

I'm starting a new thread for this so that I start totally fresh in 2013! Right now, my 100th book is The Fault in Our Stars. I want to get through 12 of my first 100 to-reads in 2013; at least one per month.

I was just about to say that guy looked like Jack and then it is!!! I love Jack. He's the perfect person. I haven't seen Torchwood though because I am crazy... I actually went over my first 100 the other day. I deleted a couple. Can you get all your 100 books? I am basing them upon the books I have and can get at the library. It ends up stopping at 153. You should read The Fault in Our Stars as soon as you can.

I loved Torchwood! It was really good. The final season was weird though, I didn't like it much but my brother really did. I'm very interested to see how the books are!


I didn't check really! I should have checked my library. I think I'll just look at them as I choose ones to read. I'll read The Fault in Our Stars soon! I'll do it in March. :)

Do you plan your books? I'm starting to do that but it's annoying when I have to wait a long time to read a book if I have prior commitments.

It ended, but it got a few seasons. Then two (I think two, maybe it was three) "mini series" of 5 episodes. The second one had ten I think, I didn't watch the second mini series.

I'm planning some books. This challenge I'm planning, and my NF challenge for the other group. And the books for my Agatha Christie Lovers group (because those are just being read in order).
I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to planning books. I hate the feeling of *needing* to read a book, just for the sake of a challenge. A lot of times I see a book I want to read but avoid it because I've got too much reading already planned. That bugs me. In 2013 I'm going to try and plan less, and enter less challenges as well.

I plan to do a couple of challenges but I want to read those books. They are year long challenges so it shouldn't be that bad. But I know if I plan I won't be able to read that many books on a whim. I plan on reading books but it's not so many where I won't have time to read books I want to read on a whim or for extra challenges. I'm sure you have some books that you really want to read in 2013.

Oh yeah, I totally do. And I will make time for those books no matter what!
