A few years ago I read a book about a family of siblings (brothers and sisters) who all had a part they played in WW2. I know one character was a singer and for some reason the name Lili keeps popping into my head! Can someone help me?

The Von Trapp Family Singers (Sound of Music) and maybe Audie Murphy's life story come to mind, but I'm not sure about someone named Lili.
I can't think of anything specific either,Courtney, except Brock and Bodie Thoene have written some wonderful chronicles, fiction, that follow WWII history closely, and usually follow characters, both related and friends, from one book to the next. There is The Zion Chronicles and The Zion Covenant series.
The Zion Chronicles and Zion Covenant are both wonderful series that are responsible for my love of historic fiction. Bodie and Brock Theone have written so many wonderful series.
Tricia Goyer also writes some incredible historical fiction centered around WWII. I just finished Book 1 in her "Liberation" series titled From Ashes To Dust. Incredible book. Can't wait to start Book 2 in this series.

I believe this is the one you're talking about! I enjoyed it back when I read it.http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
That book is #6 in The American Family Portrait series by Jack Cavanaugh. Have read most of his books and they are incredible, but you will get the most out of this series if you read them in order. I highly recommend anything he writes. You'll get to Book 6 faster than you think cause you can't put them down once you start Book 1. Definitely time well spent!!!!

I agree! Those are two of my favorite series also.
The book you're looking for is The Victors, Book 7 in the American Family Portrait series. Lily Morgan is a "canary" (lead singer) in a big band. Written by (he said, modestly) me. So glad you enjoyed the story. Blessings.
And thanks, Debbie and Melissa for the kind words about the American Family Portrait series, a family generational story with 9 volumes spanning American history from the 1630 to the present. And I would also add my endorsement of the Thoene's Zion Chronicles. Forever in debt to these good friends who opened the way for other historical fiction authors like myself.
