What in your opinion are some of the most addictive TV shows. I'd nominate The Last Airbender (watched 11 half-hour episodes one day), Justice Leage, and Smallville (watched 10 one-hour episodes one day).

I find that TV shows can be addictive for a short while, but then you kind of get over them or just don't watch TV for a while....

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 390 comments I'm more into BBC TV shows. Doctor Who, Merlin, Primeval and Sherlock are big favourites right now. Although I have been caught up by Once Upon A Time - I'm all attention for anything that plays with both mythology/fairytales and the modern world.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock, Arrow, and some-show-I-can't-quite-remember-the-name-of are my favourite tv shows... :)

I think you'd like it considering the other shows you watch. It's got action, good sets and pays nice homage to the old fairytales while subverting them in unique and interesting ways!

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Once upon a Time is fairly good. (my dad is kinda obsessed with it though, which is kinda amusing..)

I like a lot of BBC stuff too like Downton Abbey and all their mysteries.

message 8: by Taggerung (new)

Taggerung | 142 comments Wolverine and the X-men, Stargate: Atlantis, Merlin

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Downton Abbey is good too. Have you seen the ad on tv for the new series?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

3rd series. Don't tell me America and Canada are already getting the 4th..?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

That's like my friend. And she kept talking about it and I was like....NO! Don't spoil it!

message 12: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 390 comments Oh yes I forgot to mention Stargate. Now there's another show I like. I've not watched Downton Abbey but I've heard plenty of good things from friends.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Stargate Universe?

message 14: by Taggerung (new)

Taggerung | 142 comments The only Stargate I've seen is Atlantis, and Netflix took it down when I was in the middle of the third season!!! *screams and rips out hair in frustration* it's simply killing me not being able to watch more!!!!

message 15: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 390 comments Atlantis is good as. I'm up to the final season and can't find the DVDs since I don't use the online show programs at all. I liked the first season of Universe and not the second.

Gigi (triv_s) | 4 comments Oh does anyone watch the Walking Dead? I'm so obsessed with it and I have to wait till Feburary until it comes back >.< Also Homeland is great. And Justified. And Broadwalk Empire. Basically, all the HBO shows.

It was awesome :D"

I am jealous ;)

message 20: by Sc (new)

Sc | 1 comments The most addictive TV shows I've ever seen are Doctor Who and Supernatural by far. I watched both shows in under a month each, and that's like 7(+) seasons for each show. But I think Once Upon A Time, Dexter, Gossip Girl, and Pretty Little Liars are also REALLY addicting, as is Criminal Minds.

Poorly. They got all "group things are fine, but there is no reason to be going to things by yourselves." And at a different time "Matthew is practically already family, if this becomes something more later on you have our blessing." Grrr!!!! If you don't have a problem with him, and neither of us are minors, you shouldn't have a problem with us!!! But they think he'd be a distracton from "figuring out my life". -_- I fail to see how figuring out if this person-who really likes me, and I really like back-is the one I want to marry, doesn't fall under that category....I really don't.
They're disapproval of "dates" is not changing the fact that we are going to make a point of seeing each other frequently haha, it simply won't be alone.

Well, I'm not going to play mommy and tell you not to do anything stupid because you feel rebellious, buy keep in mind if the time comes and you need your parents permission Matthew-involved, it's best to be on there food side.
But it's totally cool you guys are finally together:)

I've only seen the first season of Walking Dead so far, but I'm totally hooked! xD Whoever created that show is getting some serious cash right about now.

Taggerung | 142 comments I noticed that too haha, but my brain automatically translates most typos because my autocorrect is so fond of trolling me.
And yeah, I am not rebelling...much. It's not like I could even go on a solo date without them finding out, so I'm simply gonna wait till I go to K-State in August. Matthew will probably go back to KState cuz of me haha. He says he's gonna have to babysit me to make sure I'm studying if I want to try and do the early admittance program for vet school. To maintain your spot, you have to keep a 3.4 GPA. Not to mention math is my worst enemy, and he's good at it, and he has legitimate reason to want to make sure I'm not blowing off studying by watching Supernatural, or reading some book, or partying hahaha. He knows me too well.

Yeah, autocorrect hates me-it's known universally. Don't be surprised if my posts don't make sense. So you wanna be a vet, Tagg? Sweetness:) what does Matthew want to be?

Love it! The CGI isn't the most believable but tHe acting ad story line caught me hook, line, and sinker (I'm a sucker for Gennifer Goodwin, just adore her!). I've only seen the first two episodes so far.
