As it is, I have concerns that I didn't make it challenging enough! Especially with you & DG reading millions of pages!

Hey, Dee...I think we are OK for surviving the end of the world tonight, because Tien is already on tomorrow and her brain is working overtime....so all must be OK.

I could never figure out if the world ended at the end of the 21st, or when the 21st hit

Since I got an earlier guess as a finisher, do I still get three choices here?

Tien, I am anxious to get some planning done...and it will be a busy day (as your has been), so here are my choices.

If I am not allowed all three because of the earlier guess, pick any of them for me. I have books for all three.

I thought message 10 said we should wait to reserve anything here.

Can we please have a beginning time that we all know about ahead of time? I assumed by Tien's asking us to wait (in message 10), that meant nothing could be reserved here until Jan 1.

then she said in 15 that we could reserve years - just not start reading

It looks like DG and Amy both asked for the year 2010.

This looks like the sort of challenge I can actually not get distracted from! I already know most of the books I'll be reading in 2013, except for a couple of monthly reads in this and another group, due to several year-long challenges I'm undertaking needing fairly fussy planning.

I'd like to start by reserving 3 years for books I know I'll be reading in January, please.

We've still got Karen & Sam to check in for the S&L finisher but we've still got quite a number of years left (plenty of choices) even after I've reserved all your years plus the Shelves Tower is the more popular one so I've reserved those who've put in their choices to date but I'll wait until either Sam & Karen checked in OR 1st Jan prior to further reservations.

Thanks D.G, figured they might be some of the harder ones to get done and since I've got relevent books on my shelves, I figured I may as well do my bit :-D

You should pick that 1858 as one of your S&L picks. That way if it's a block, you'll know beforehand!

I finished reading Dracula last month and I was sad when I realized I could have used it for this, LOL!

Now that I finished one of my picks, can I please reserve 1953?
