Just stuff - anything you want to talk about even if it's NOT books!

For example - it's THUNDER-SLEETING here and we're in for a possible 3-5 inches of snow! We don't GET snow in Arkansas! we DO get ice storms and those are nasty! We may be home tomorrow instead of getting to work in this "stuff". yikes

Yea, I just found we are getting ice , I rather have snow. I live in PA. And I don't plan on going anywhere tomorrow. Be careful if you do.

How was everyone's Christmas?

We are in Ohio. We are due to get 9-12 inches of snow. Right now there is also some freezing rain mixed in. Our county is under a blizzard warning but I figure that's for the Northern half. We are in the far southern part and the county below us is not in the warning. They are saying this afternoon the wind will be gusting causing white outs. I'm glad I don't have to be out.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had all of our stuff Christmas Eve so yesterday was a nice peaceful day with just the two of us here.

We so far just got freezing rain but it's stopped for now. So not sure if it's gonna miss us or not. Be Safe.

We did had part of our Christmas the day before Christmas Eve because of some family members has to work.

We had a great one, it was nice and relaxing on Christmas.

WELL! We ended up losing power on xmas day and didn't get it back until @ 8 Thursday night! ugh what a headache! NO TV!? NO INTERNET?! yikes! and my office closed on Wed cuz we ended up having 9-12 inches of snow (depending on where you live) - we had around 10 in. OVER ice! whoa
My family (around North Little Rock) all had power!? No fair!

That sucks right on Christmas. Wow you got a lot! we got about 3 first storm and about 3 this storm that just went thru today. Not sure if it is still snowing or not now.

Today, it's snowing again not sure how much we have not. We are sure making up for not having any for November and first part of December.

DH is playing Call of Duty so I will be reading again :) can't believe 2012 is about over.

the years go so much faster as you get older - sigh -but I have a feeling 2013 is gonna be a BANNER year!
positive thinking - gotta help - cuz 2012 was the pits!
hubby had 2 heartattacks (one was major and he had 2 stents put in his heart valves (one in his "widow maker!)

Dad had a stroke in the grocery store,

mom had some internal bleeding (just under the skin and she turned PURPLE!) I have a picture ... somewhere...
then my BROTHER married a woman (from the internet) and she's from Aruba via Holland via Iran!?!??!
we are not happy about it... she's a phony - we can prove it - but HE won't listen... so we wait.
sigh

I know what it' like I was an army brat growing up so I know how hard it is to be away from those you love. Thank you too for serving our country as well :)

They would love it, its a great place. My son has been I so have I when I was younger.

there are some nasties running around out there - bugs can become something worse - hope he's ok.
