What book will take the Printz? What books will take the honor? List up to five books in the comments. On January 14 I will create a poll with the top 10 books. That will leave us almost 2 weeks to read and vote for the top books!

Some of the other comments include books I really enjoyed this year but don't believe will find their way to the Printz award list. Maybe The Raven Boys, but I'm not sure since it's the first in a series.
Every DayThe Drowned Cities
Seraphina
The Brides of Rollrock Island
I would really like to see The Year of the Beasts get some love, but it's probably a long-stretch.
The Fault in Our StarsAsk the Passengers
The Children and the Wolves
The miseducation of Cameron Post
Code Name Verity (which I didn't like very much, contrary to everyone, but I think it will get noticed by the Printz committee)
In no particular order...Code Name Verity
Seraphina
Ask the Passengers
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets to the Universe
A Fault in Our Stars
I'd like to see The Lions of Little Rockwin either the Printz or the Newbery. I also really liked No Crystal Stair: A Documentary Novel of the Life and Work of Lewis Michaux, Harlem Bookseller

I also loved Raven Boys, Bitterblue, and Grave Mercy, but I don't see any of those getting Printz love, for a variety of reasons.

ALSO (FROM THE PRINTZ WEBSITE):
What we are looking for, in short, is literary excellence.
All forms of writing—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, art, and any combination of these, including anthologies—are eligible.
The following criteria are only suggested guidelines and should in no way be considered as absolutes. They will always be open to change and adaptation. Depending on the book, one or more of these criteria will apply:
Story
Voice
Style
Setting
Accuracy
Characters
Theme
Illustrations
Design (including format, organization, etc.)
For each book the questions and answers will be different, the weight of the various criteria will be different.

I don't think I could pick a fifth- there were a lot I really liked, for instance, The Diviners, Keeping the Castle and Cinder, but I'm not sure they are what the committee is looking for...
