Just back from watching the Hobbit and I loved it!!!!
But I am a bit of a nerd, my husband calls me Jilbo Baggins, because I am short with large feet (size nine is big for a five foot flat girl !!). So let's just say I feel a Kinship to Hobbits.
What were the mixed reviews you heard??

We saw Parker last night, and it was very good. I will be honest and admit I love Jason Statham. I think he's gorgeous and I also love his action portrayals. He can take some questionable movie roles, but I think he's a genuinely good actor. This movie showed that he has some range as an actor. While there were some parallels to his work in The Transporter, Parker is a deeper role, with more nuance. It's a crime movie, and there is a fair bit of violence, but nothing excessive. I think that fans of Statham will enjoy this movie. Also, Jennifer Lopez was very good. While I am not a huge fan of her persona, she is a good actress, which showed in this movie.
