I started Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible yesterday. I didn't get very far into it, but I think that I am really going to enjoy it.

I am reading Summer Island by Kristin Hannah. It's pretty good so far. I've liked her books so far, with the exception of Firefly Lane.

I'm 90% of the way through Cinder. It's a pretty good novella (futuristic steampunk/sci-fi coming of age story based on Cinderella). I've been at the same spot for several weeks....the plot is at the stupid but predictable emotional outburst portion, and I'm having a hard time forcing myself to finish it. :P
I am about 1/4 way into Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell right now. It is an odd, odd book but I think I like it. I have read other Kingsolver stuff but not the Poisonwood Bible - love her!
I just finished Dream Jungle by Jessica Hagedorn, and about to start A Severed Head, by Iris Murdoch
I just finished East of Eden by Steinbeck. I think I am going to read War Brides next. Or possibly The No-Cry Sleep Solution of Toddlers if Kiddo doesn't work out his sleep issues soon! Darn two-year molars!

I'm re-reading All Creatures Great and Small (James Herriot) because it sounded good a couple nights ago.

Ha! You found me out! lol.
I just finished reading it yesterday. It really is an odd odd book, but I liked it. I can see how it is not a lot of people's cup of tea, though.
I think I'll start Labor Day next, with the other peeps.
I can't decide what to read next. I'm still reading the toddler sleep book, but I want something for entertainment, too. I want to read all the things!
The Reeny here. I am working on the challenge. I am 14 books in. I read Lisa Scottoline's book "Accused" yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Then tried "Don't Go" and it was too "real" for me. Too sad. Too intense. So I gave up on it. Now I am working on the Rick Riordan Kane Chronicles Trilogy. I read the first book a few years ago, but forgot about it. Going to read all 3 (hopefully this weekend) and then not sure about what is next. Maybe Divergent trilogy in time for the movie next month.
I loved the Kane Chronicles and the Divergent Trilogy. I hope you enjoy both. I just started Good Omens by Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett

I'm still working on the last book in the Kane Chronicles. Didn't get to finish if. Maybe tonight. About 20% done.
I just started The Bloodletter's Daughter. I'm only thirty pages in, but I can tell it's going to be good.
