Shadow Takers discussion

Here's where you can apply to be a Shadow Taker. Please be as descriptive as you normally would be in a post, so I can get a sense of how you RP. The people chosen will also be the people who become mods. I'm normally the type of person that allows for anything, but there's only eight positions for these characters. I'm also looking for an even number gender wise for the Shadow Takers, four girls and four guys. So be prepared to be asked to make a guy if there's already the set number of girls.

Why You Want To Be Chosen:

One, yeah this is a totally awesome idea for a group, the real question should be: Why wouldn't I want to be a mod? Anyways, that and the group has sort of been going down in the last month, and since I am active a lot, I can be here to help with that issue. Oh, and I want to make an epic Shadow Taker. :3

Why You Should Be Chosen:
First of all, I am active, well I am on goodreads a lot. Then I am already have experience being a mod. After that, because this group is so wonderful, and I want to benefit it with my deranged, twisted, and yet creative, mind. I am full of twists, and plots, and many other ideas waiting to be RPed. Then I am fully capable of RPing with exceptionally detailed and elegant posts... Oh, and I would enforce the laws, and make sure people post more then a one sentence line, I WILL FORCE THEM TO IMPROVE! >.<'

What Would Your Charrie Be Like:

*snickers* My character will be a 'bit' of a eccentric, because the Shadow Hunters desperately need someone like this character. THEY DO! THEY CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT HIM/HER(undecided). My character would be an sort of childish, goofy, smiley, melodramatic, and above all, playful being. Oh, I forgot didn't I, to mention how twisted and deranged they really are. Most of the shadow hunters are these serious, dark, types. But mine, mine will bring a new perspective into the RP. Though, I won't really know perfectly what they'll be like till I make them.

he streets of Chicago.

The man hurried down the street. The man wore a simple business suit, nothing special, in his grasp he carried a sleek black suitcase. He had a nervous look in his eyes as he glanced behind himself every few steps. He could just feel it, like ice cold needles on the back of his neck. He was being followed. He halted to a stop as he rounded the corner, something was off about this street, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Never mind that now, he scolded himself and continued walking The man took in deep breaths trying to relaxing a bit. I'm just imagining things, getting paranoid, he told himself, and he almost believed it...almost. Unfortunately, it was at threat moment that the realization hit him. The street was empty, not a human in sight, quiet as a graveyard.

He bolted into an alley way knowing he needed to get out of here as he realized something was definitely wrong with this place. His mind searched for a rational answer but found none. He averted his eyes toward the end of alley way only to find the cold surface of a dead end.. He cursed himself and quickly whirled himself around so he could get out of there as fast as he could. As he rushed towards the entrance two dark figures appeared in the opening. He couldn't make out there faces, or any distinguishing details, but all he could see was their silhouettes in the light. He stopped, holding his breath as the two men, for they were men, stood there.

“Excuse me sir. C-can I help you?” he quavered. There was no reply...but for some reason he had the feeling that they were smirking at him.

“This guy's a funny one, Sloth. Are you sure we have to kill him?” the man one the right asked, putting a tiny bit more emphasis on the phrase 'have to'. The mans voice sounding annoyed, as if everything in the world was just another problem for him to deal with.

“Orders are orders Grief. You know how Pride can be when someone messes up...” Sloth retorted, though his tone that of boredom and a complete lack of interest. Surely I am hearing them wrong , did they just say “kill”? The man rationalized to himself in an attempt to calm down and seeing by the fact that his hands were still shaking, and not from the cold, it wasn't working for him.

“Don't remind me” Grief, if that was his name, groaned,“I just meant, I don't see why we were ordered to kill him of all people” The man taking in rapid breaths now, what could he do, they just kept on talking as if he wasn't there. The way they talked, you would think it was just a conversation about buying some shoes...not killing someone. Who are these people?, the man once again asked himself.

“Stop being such a pain. Like it matters to me whether he lives or dies, its all the same. What does matter to me is not being yelled at by Pride again, or even worse...Lust” Sloth sighed.

“W-what do you want from me?” the man finally spoke, trying his best to sound calm, but he failed. The telltale signs of fear filled his voice, and the look in his eyes was that of a frightened rabbit.

“What do we want he asks?” Grief spoke, though it kept its pessimistic tone, the man though it had a tinge of...was it amusement?

“An odd question, what do I want?” Sloth seemed to ponder on that for a second. Then his eyes switched onto the man and he grinned,”I don't want anything, I don't need anything, and I don't care about anything. Frankly, the fact of you living or dying matters to me as much as a single grain of sand matters to a beach.”

“Then...then why?” the man asked, horrified by this man who seemed to carry no emotions.
“Who, what, when, where, why” Grief chanted in a dark tone,”how about...hm...it doesn't matter. It's not like you are going to live long anyways, because there are about a dozen ways you could die right now. Guess what, half of them are of 'natural' causes. If we don't kill you now, you are likely to die before tomorrow morning anyways.”

“Who are you people? You-you monstrous abominations. ” he said ignorantly, his voice now replacing fear with complete disgust.

“You are close, but we are not a whom...but a what.” Sloth said, smiling gleefully...a look that did not suit him well. (hide spoiler)]

I have a cat, because that's the most important thing. My ambitions in life are, well, I'm not exactly sure yet, but I'll start with taking of the world(the obviously cliche thing to do) and then go from there.

Why you want to be choose: While i dowant to make a shadow taker, i also wanna keep this group alive 'cause it really made me sad that a group with such a great plot dwindled down and died. I also like to keep organization(ocd! yay)

Why you should be chosen: Well, you already know me panda and you know how i work with groups, as you've seen my ocd-ness in action. plus, i like to keep arguments only in roleplay and spam in the spam folder(not in the roleplay or character folders)

What would your character be like: Not the overly sadistic type, but also not a pushover. (S)he has his/her moments though,as most shadow-takers do, where (s)he will have a total personality turn around. One minute having a small smile on his/her face then after the blink of an eye sadistic crazy look in his/her eyes and a cruel smile replacing the before gentler one. Most times she will have no motive behind what she does but she also likes to play the role of punisher.

She turned her attention to the demon's - Xanti - dark shadowy figure her dark black hair falling over her shoulder reaching down to mid-back. "Xanti. Go tell one of the humans-" When she said the word human her voice held much disgust and disrespect to a point where even Xanti was shuddering. "To come to me.." The deadly undertone in her voice explained she was in no mood for games and the demon quickly left to fetch one of the humans who wondered down the halls on other assignments.

Viola turned her body so her back was now facing towards the window and she held her bright grey eyes on the door. When Xanti returned with and unfortunate and scared looking human she held back a small sinister smile. She recognized this one. It was one of the very few who refused to let their spirit break no matter the punishment. And this one in particular had been pissing her off to an extreme level. Viola strolled towards the unfortunate girl who struggled to keep on a brave face. The Shadow Taker retrieved the knife she held in her boot and twirled it easily between her fingers. "I'm going to enjoy this." She purred, excitement gleaming in her eyes as she closed the remaining distance between herself and the girl. Why You Want To Be Chosen: (view spoiler)[ I feel that the Plot line is very well thought even if it is a rebirth group. I also think many ideas would be well thought into be considered...Of course I haven't thought of any right away but after rping for a bit I am sure I will venture into the presence of a muse. In honesty I would love to make a Shadow Taker, but it is not my main reason, I have been creating groups and trying to reactivate groups for the entirety of my time on G.R.

Why You Should Be Chosen: (view spoiler)[ Experience, it seems to be a very hard driven key in keeping a group active and well, running to the rules. I always point random errors out, but not to the point people begin to feel attacked as it has happened to me on several occasions. I do not play around when it comes to people just wanting to be stupid using SPAM a lot in places it doesn't need to be as well as people just God Modding it is rather boring for the rest and many people have been known to leave groups where arrogant prats seem to linger. What Would Your Character Be Like: (view spoiler)[My Character will always seem to hold a darkness about him. I would most likely base his entire personality around a specific zodiac to build a strong basis. He would probably be taken in the form of the Scorpio sign. Loyal to the rules of what is now of the human world. Passionate in ensuring every human gets what they deserve in attempt to secure their fate as what the supernatural once was, pure legend and myth. He will be observant and spot traitors like a hawk, although some things can slip past his gaze very few live to tell the tale of the one who did. He is an extremely intense person always more than what meets the eye. They present a cool, detached and unemotional air to the world yet lying underneath is tremendous power, extreme strength, intense passion and a strong will and a persistent drive. He has a very penetrative mind, do not be surprised if they ask questions, he is trying to delve deeper and figure things out and survey the situation. He always wants to know why, where and any other possible detail he can possibly know.
Very weary of the games that other people try to play and he is very aware of it.
Tends to dominate and control anyone that lets him, or anyone that he finds weak. A person that respects and holds close to him is treated with amazing kindness, loyalty, and generosity. On the outside, he has great secretiveness and mystery. This magnetically draws people to him. He is known to be controlling and too ambitious but only because he needs control for this makes him feel safe.
He can be Jealous of others power. Obsessive with his own power. Suspicious of everyone around him. Manipulative of what he can dot o people. Unyielding in personality as he will never back off no matter how much mercy is pleaded for. (hide spoiler)]


Create a Scene: (I know it is not much but it is right off the top of my head sorry) (view spoiler)[ Constantine moves to the window staring blankly at the pale moonlit stars. Down below a city in ruins rest under all of his might and power.
A servant enters bringing something on a plate for him to eat. Constantine smirks turning around swiftly a dark glare in his eyes as he shows such distaste for human-kind. He moves upon them swiftly. "How dare you enter my Quarters without knocking and announcing yourself first, you arrogant rebel." He raises his hands on the boy who looks merely fourteen or so. The boy quickly flinches in fear and throws the plate up as a guard. Constantine stops mid way in a hit. He then snickers and kicks the boy to the ground. "Showing disrespect now are we? I'll teach you...Guards!!! Guards!!!" Two men rush in full of alert upon their faces. Constantine glares at the feeble boy on the floor. "Bind this boy to a pole and give him ten thrashings. If he screams give him ten more." The guards nod dragging the boy from the hall.

Moments later Constantine sits at his thrown his arm propped up his hand stroking his chin lightly then gasped screams of pain rush into the room. The sound of a flicking whip, a strong man huffing as he swings the barbed rope, and the boy crying out in pain for mercy pleading he is sorry. Constantine's ears meet the noise in a sorrow burning his insides. He grips his face with both hands tears pouring down. He was a monster hiding his emotions from the world. He was lost in anger and rage and now pain for what he had done, loosing his temper with the boy for no true reason.
The boys cries slowly subsided and as did Constantine's tears dry. A guard enters reporting, "Sir, the boy's heart was far to weak to handle the forty-second strike. He is now expired from his duties."

Constantine grips the arm of his thrown tightly until his knuckles grow pale. He throws a goblet at the guard. "Then dispose of the boys body after dragging him in front of his people!!!" He stands smiling..."In fact, allow them the pleasure of disposing of him in a way they see fit." Constantine smirks as it morphs into a frown when the guard leaves, "Perhaps they will give him a proper burial and may my grief be buried with him." Constantine says as a single tear slides gracefully from his eye as if it does not any longer belong in such a soulless place. (hide spoiler)]

Why You Want To Be Chosen: Because... I really like having the experience of being a mod, and it encourages me to keep coming back to the group. Like, if the group isn't awesome and I'm not a mod, I don't really have any reason to come back to it. Although this group does seem awesome, so I don't really need to be a mod, but whatever. And when I apply for other positions, I can say that I'm a mod in other groups!

Also, seriously, I love your rules. I cannot even tell you how many times I've been in a group and there have been people just being SO RUDE to me. Even when I'm a mod! The groups will go unnamed, but I've had people making prissy emoticon faces or dissing me or acting like I'm annoying, and I'm a mod! So yeah. It would be awesome to be chosen to get some R-E-S-P-E-C-T! (Find out what it means to me...)

Why You Should Be Chosen: I have my own computer (netbook, if we want to get technical and nerdy about it) and so I can be on a lot and not have to worry about parents or siblings hogging the computer. I pretty much always respond to posts. I don't wanna say always... that's a big word 0.0

What Would Your Charrie Be Like: Well! I'm not gonna actually make a profile yet (but duh, I will if I'm accepted), unless you want me to, but my character would be named Callum Keen. He would be a boy, probably because I know basically everyone else would make a girl. (Oh, believe me, I want to, too, but I hate it when there are like 15 girls and 1 guy. EVEN RATIOS, PLEASE!!!)

And I promise, he wouldn't be a cliche of a villain. (I'm assuming Shadow Takers are villainous. Well, they enslave humans, and I'm a human, so they're villainous to me.) I would keep the smirks down to a minimum. Callum would be a cheerful and happy Shadow Taker, and nothing would delight him more than killing/hurting humans. He could be compared to the Greek gods. Even though he's not immortal, he ages so slowly that a lowly human life means nothing to him. So what if it's taken away? They wouldn't live to be over 100 anyways, so what's the point? Humans are something to be played with, like dolls with reactions. He doesn't bother staying calm and emotionless around humans, preferring to play with them.

Although on the surface he appears normal (I mean, sort of), below that lies an insane and damaged person that will break out whenever it needs to and kill whatever it can. He's basically a psychopath, but he hides it most of the time. But just because he's a psychopath doesn't mean he's "afraid to let people get close to him because he doesn't want to harm them." Geez, how cliche would THAT be?! When you become friends with Callum, he knows what he's getting into and he doesn't care. He only really befriends other Shadow Takers, and they could defend themselves anyways. He enjoys a fight. And if you're a human and you somehow manage to befriend him, so what if he murders you? He doesn't care. (See above.)

Create a Scene: No makeout scenes?!?! Screw this, I'm not applying! Okay, I'm kidding. Onto the real scene.

(view spoiler)[Callum skipped into the kitchen, humming an eerie tune that he knew made the hair on the back of everyone's necks stand at attention. He knew it - and he loved it.

"Hi-hi, Lily," he trilled to one of the humans who worked in the kitchen. He favored her far above all the other humans, mainly because she would do whatever he asked without blinking twice. He was infatuated with her and her obedience, and loved to play with her hair while she was cooking. Callum touched a lock of her light blonde hair, which was swinging in its efficient and perfect ponytail. "You have such pretty hair," he murmured in a sing-song voice, twirling a piece with his finger.

Lily's face remained emotionless as she began chopping up tomatoes. After dicing them finely, she sprinkled them into the tomato sauce she was making.

Callum had stopped playing with her hair, and was staring at the pot. "Tomato sauce," he said faintly, and a smile played at his lips. He dipped a finger in, and touched it to Lily's face. The usually-emotionless girl flinched, and Callum cackled loudly, a noise that made all the other humans in the kitchen freeze. That was not a good cackle. That was a dangerous cackle.

Callum took his finger away and licked it. He grinned, a madness dancing behind the mask that his normal face was. He turned to the utensils and danced his fingers around it. Spoons, forks... knives. Callum reached for the largest knife there, and everyone looked away.

Everyone but Lily.

Why You Want To Be Chosen: Because I feel I'd be good and very helpful. I really love the vision you had for this roleplay. It got me started on so many ideas for characters to be created which makes me what to be a part of this group. Of course, I must thank Malxox for introducing me to it.


Why You Should Be Chosen: Not to brag or anything, but I am very creative and can see a paint the vision someone has. Give me three things what you like, don't like and what you need in a roleplay and I'll throw tons of ideas your way. I am a mod in various other groups and a majority of them, I have created. I know what it takes to have a cool idea and make a group. As well as the maintenance involved to keep that group alive.

What Would Your Character Be Like: Well, if chosen. I had this idea about a brother and sister. They create a balance between each other yet have distinct and complicated personalities. One of them with be a true contradiction. Plays the part of a sweet and kind which in truth the are most cruelest. The other is very silent, solemn, they don't engage in anything and just follow the lead of the other sibling. The find bored in the world and crave a new. They do things for entertainment. They care for no one and have a very strong bond. They are deadly a part and unbeatable together.

"Dear brother, this human still lives." a small petite woman with flowing curled black hair. Her voice sounded so gentle and kind but her eyes held the most cruelty unimaginable. She was beautiful to any man, with her ivory skin and a face like an angel. She was wearing a draped light blue gown. That of the ladies at the time. Her dress was tainted with blood as were her hands.

The human heart was beating at speed. There body was shaking uncontrollably, eyes wide with fear. There was 20 slaughtered bodies all around this one human. The human was crying and even held hope as they looked to the two siblings. "P..p..please, I am with child." the women croaked.

"Shall we spare her or would you like me to kill her?" she said softly pulling the chin of the human up to examine.

"Do whatever your heart desires sister." the male replied as he emerged from the shadows. He was tall and quiet slender yet well built. The moon cast a light over his handsome features. His eyes were an emerald green, the same color as his sister. His expression was blank and he clearly had no interest in the matters. His hair were a dirty wavy blonde, nothing like his sister's ink black hair.

His sister smiled faintly but it disappears as soon as it came. She tilted her head in an animalistic manner as she looked at her prey. "hush hush, I won't kill you my dear. You have such beautiful blue eyes." she said touching the human woman's face, blood from her hand smeared on to her.

The woman relax but couldn't quiet stop shaking. She still was very much in fear.

"I will however kill your baby" she said with her hand running of the belly of the woman.She was only 5 months into her pregnancy. In an instant, her hand ripped into the belly of the mom, tearing the soft, blood filled and small creature that laid inside the women.

The women cried in tortures pain as her child was ripped from inside her and killed in front of her own eyes.

Why You Want to be Chosen- I think that the original group had been pretty successful, and I really want to help this group become even better! ^^ The plot and ideas of the role play are beautiful and original! I just also enjoy being a moderator, it makes me feel... not useless. I really think this group has a lot of potential, and that we could keep it alive much longer than the other one!

Why You Should Be Chosen- Well, I believe that I've had a lot of moderator experience (but whose to say I've been a good moderator). I'd really like to help this group, and instead of letting it falter like the last one, let it thrive for years to come instead! c: I'm also kinda a grammar freak, so if that helps in any way, so be it! Though I can't promise to be on every second of every day, I'll probably check in most of the time. ^^

What Would Your Character Be Like- I would probably use my character from the former group, if that's all right, so I'll just post what I did in my old application. (Though it does kinda suck).

But I'm thinking, it would be female. Her name would probably be Misericordia (Long, I know. xD) Cordia for short. She wouldn't be exactly the super evil stereotypical kind of "bad person". She would be more laid back and would let things off easier than a Shadow Taker would. She would be rather "evil" though, but in a more subtle version of it. It does take a lot to please her and she can easily spot imperfections.

(view spoiler)[Thick grey clouds rolled across the sky. The ruins of a once great city looming in the distance. The air was somewhat, thick and difficult to breath as the vampire stepped through the human relics. Her silver, cat-like eyes glistened hungrily against the dim light. Humans were known to hide out throughout the city if they hadn't been caught and taken to the castle as slaves, and she was in search of some.

The vampire pressed on, avoiding broken street lamps and the rusted cars. Small, almost unnoticeable signs indicated that humans had come here to forage for what ever was left in the relics of the city. As she drew closer to the center of the city, the intoxicating aroma of fresh, human flesh reaching her nostrils. She took a deep breath, her silver eyes narrowing to slits. Her vision pulsated as she began to search almost savagely through the buildings.

She soon stumbled across a faint, orange glow just inside of what looked like a convenience store. She drew her tongue over her rosy red lips and slowly neared the building, the humans inside oblivious to what monster lurked outside. Soft chatter drifted through the air as she stepped through a broken window, her footsteps as silent as the night. She slowly stepped down a ransacked isle, two figures sitting calmly around a fire burning on only embers. One a women, and one a man.

Blood rushed in her ears, her lips pulling back to reveal her fangs. She drew her tongue over the pearly white teeth. She stepped closer and closer until she immediately swung out her arms, clasping her hands around the man's neck. She faintly heard the women cry as she savagely bit into the neck, the warm blood spilling into her mouth. The man gagged, unable to fight back as his blood was quickly drained from his body. The stick red liquid trickled down her chin as she tossed the lifeless body to the ground, turning her beastly on the frightened women.

The women had fallen to the ground, kicking her legs out. "No, no, no! Get away from me!" She screamed, tears streaming down her face.

The vampire merely approached the women calmly and knelt beside her. She grabbed the human's chin with her bloodied hands and inspected her face. "Much to beautiful to damage," She muttered softly. She gave an irritated shrug before plunging her teeth into the human's neck, a breathless cry escaping her lips before her body quickly grew still. After several moments the vampire stood, wiping away the blood on her chin. Lovely feast, She thought, glancing at the bodies slick with blood. The fire had burned down to ashes and embers, illuminated the pools of red. She gave a light belch before stepping out of the building and heading away down the street. (hide spoiler)]

It's not my best, but whatever. ^^ Hope I get picked, but it's fine if you want other people to have a chance at being a Shadow Taker.

Why You Want To Be Chosen: This group is very successful and I think I have many good ideas to improve it ( Not that the way it is now is bad ). I have always loved fantasy and this group is the perfect twist between fantasy and horror. I think I want to be a mod because I can relate to this group and use my knowledge to improve it. I love being creative and imagineative, and I think this group gives me+everyone the chance to let their inner rainbow out.


Why You Should Be Chosen:As I said In the last paragraph, I consider myself very creative in general. I have alot of ideas that could boost the group and its popularity. I think I would enjoy and look forward everyday coming onto this group and putting things into action. Im very swift about things and I can do whatever anyone asks. I am very capable of creating stories or things to boost the group. I feel like the fantasy / horrror theme here is perfect for me t work with in many ways.


What Would Your Character Be Like:My character would be a girl no more than twelve no less than five. She is only 8 years old and has long black haolored hair. Her skin is milky sweet. The color of cream, and her lips are the perfect mix of red and pink. People see her and want to obey her, they want to please her, they want to serve her. Meet Delusia Luna Nightmare. She has a killer instinct. She has an impressive ability to bring back horrible memories. Delusia is meciless, but yet so innocent.She can be anything she wants to. Her violent nature makes her feared. Delusia is a master at disguise and lies. Born with the natural gift, she could get away with murder.Once she has a target she will get it. No many people survive her violent attacks.


Create a Scene: 1800
Delusia is walking down the dirt road barefoot, when two ment come up to her.
" You must come with us little girl under law."

" What for." she asks innocently

" You are here by aressted by the court for witchcraft." say the men

Delusia's eyes widen and she hardens, " I am no witch. Leave me to return home, for I am only a little girl"

" Come with us witch, for you mus face court for your sins"

That was when delusia raised her hand and flung them angainst the ground, " Your folish words have your own grave." she spat as her eyes gleam with fire.

With one man she takes a crystal dagger and splits him down the middle and cuts out his heart. she holds it in her hands,still beating. The other man screams, but she takes his tounge and cuts it off. Then she holds the others mans heart up to her face and mumbles some words as the heart disolves into golden sparkles, and then they sink into her and she opens her eyes pleased.

She moves towards the next man who struggles against his invisible bonds. His eyes widen with pure fear, and she breathes it in, satisfied. she bends down and places both hands on the mans head and closes her eyes. The man begins to struggle. Unspeakable pain comes upon him, and he tries to scream but it stays trapped inside of him, never to escape. When Delusia is done, she takes her hands of the mans head and his face is frozen in a twisted face. A truly horrible sight. It is the face of a man who died of a truly unspeakable source, full of pain and agony.

Delusia waves her hand and the mens body disappear, and in their place to stone graves in the middle of the dirt. There is one word written on both of their haunting graves: Regret.

Delusia stands up and stalks off into the distance, leaving the souls to bathe in their pool of regret.

Why You Want To Be Chosen: I love modding! (it makes me feel powerful button-pusher CEO-like....did that make sense?) I guess I want to add a Shadow Taker to my array of charries, but I just enjoy modding I guess... I tried out in the last one but didn't make the cut, crossing my fingers for this one.

I've modded and headed too many groups to count.(Then again, I'm not a math whiz) I'm on a lot, too. I'm not afraid of enforcing the rules if I have to, and I just think I should be a mod....sorry.


What Would Your Character Be Like: He'd be nice at first guess, but of course the cover'd be shed the moment you approach him. You'd be lucky to be alive after a confrontation. Completely insane, he'd have creative imagination used for his dark intentions.


Create a Scene: (view spoiler)[Hugo sat with his back to the large door, his eyes surveying the land spread out from the window like a painting. He heard a knock, ripped the curtains shut, and adjusted his pinstripe jacket that he always wore with black jeans that's color matched his slightly curling hair and simple gloves he always wore.
He opened the large door with a face devoid of emotion, his usual expression. It was that new vampire that had been causing some trouble with some of his fairy servants. He inclined his head and the servant that had brought him up pushed him through the doorway and bowed before dashing out. He turned to the vampire with an amused sneer. The creature thought herself a real stud, obviously. She was wearing a leather jacket, chewing scented blue gum, and had cheap pinkish highlights in straight brown hair.
The usual air of rebellion that would be emanating girl was shrinking in the natural intimidating aurora that was practically oozing from the Shadow Taker. "Do you know why you are here, Avril?", Hugo spoke suddenly with a clear, deep and threatening voice, suprisingly quiet and emotionless. She found more to fear in his unspoken indifference than a threat. Opening her mouth to reply, black smoke began to come out of her mouth as she began a hacking cough.
Hugo opened a small book and began to skillfully draw the scene in an old-fashioned fountain pen. The vampire was now clutching her midsection. Hugo glanced up and continued to sketch in the thick book. She choked out a noise of agony and fell to her knees as she began to vomit up beautiful blood, her stomach and throat burning away. A large peice of skin shed off her body, on her stomach and throat as her esophagus melted away and her stmach basically dissapated. She was now thrashing violently on the floor, clutching her dead body in a vain attempt to keep herself together. She locked eyes with catlike forest green eyes that peirced her very being as Hugo closed and set aside his light brown journal, watching the final moments of her extended life. A few thousand years was enough for some. She was now reduced to a spine, shoulders up, and below the knees, yet still alive and feebly struggling.
The Holy Water pill he had replaced with her medication was still making it's way through her system as an acidic syrup. He watched in fascination as the liquid turned her bones into a wet powder and the rest into a bloody pulp. As her skull was going, he reached down and pulled both her eyes from their sockets, slipping them in his pocket.
He then set out to scoop the bone mash and other bits into a jar with contents akin to the ones currently strewn on his carpet. Soon the only evidence of her struggle not in a jas was the bloodstains on the floor, the eyes and lock of hair now in his special chamber, and the set of fangs in a glass case filled with others in the same room. He was putting the last jar in a cabinet when the servant he had summoned arrived to bleach his white carpet. Hugo then left the room to visit the library, completely unnerved by the previous happeings.----

Why You Want To Be Chosen: It's not exactly wanting to have a Shadow Taker character, but that is a slight part of the reason. But it's mainy because I want to have a role in governing this Group that I think has major potential. It's having the power to stan out and be important, something I've always wanted to do, but also is a thing that I am unable to do in the real world currently. I find this as a great chance to test my leadership skills, and to see if this is something I am fit to do. It's not much, but I think I can really live up to my expectations as a Moderator. Another reason is that I want to maybe even create my own Group of sorts, and becoming a Mod in this Group could help me be a better and more responsible Mod.

Why You Should Be Chosen: I should be chosen because I can really help to enforce the rules and make sure everybody is having fun in the roleplay. I can also make sure that nobody gets into an argument, or prevent an argument from continueing and disrupting the other members. I also think I am very organized and can help keep the Group's threads and topics easily accessible and easy to find.

What Your Character Would Be Like: My character would be a strong silent type. He/she'd be sadistic at the same time, but also very controlled and respected. They'd be the type to stalk around and watch for any trouble-makers stepping out of line, or any Mortal trying to escape. My character would be reasonable and serious, yet still cruel and a bit on the violent side as well. And I wouldn't mind having a feminine or a masculine character, though I would make him very old and clever, yet appear to be a mere teenager.

Create A Scene: (view spoiler)[Jacques silently slipped in and out of the alleyways of the city, he shape only a shadowy blur to those who daredwalk the night. He could feel the chills of those Mortals, whose bravery led them to the dark shadows after dusk and foolish to lead them to danger. But they were his prey. He knew who it was, and she knew full well it was her.

Her stupidity. How could she have been so mindless as to go out after sunset?

Jacques stand at her back, and his pale hand shot up and grasped her thin shoulders. The lanky girl whipped around, terror blaring in her moss green eyes and her mouth gaping in a silent scream - Too stunned and frightened to make a noise. Screaming was useless, anyway. No Mortal in their right mind would dare challenge Jacques. The young girl's dirty blonde hair fell past her bony neck and shoulder blades, framing her pale, beautiful face, the blood instantly drained in terror. Her breathes came in short, quiet gasps, as Jac's nose softly brushed hers in a menacing way. "P-ple-ease!" The girl stuttered, finally finding the anility to speak. "I-I'm sorry! Please, ju-just let me g-go, a-and I'll d-do whatev-er you wa-ant!" She pleaded, shaking violently. Her knees buckled and the girl fell to a kneel, tears treaming over her paler-than-usual cheeks. But she dared not sob in the presence of this cruel torturer.

"Well, Bethany," Jacques spoke in a low an deadly voice, one he'd rarely ever use. Only those who heard would be dead in a short while. "I never thought a rebellious trouble-maker like you could plead for life, one she wished never existed." In a flash, Jacques' hand gripped Bethany's collarbone and he threw her into the brick wall behind him. The girl slammed into the rough wall, the sharp edges of the bricks catching her hair and scraping her skin beneath the thin shirt she wore. As she gasped for air to replace that of which had been blown from her lungs, Bethany fell to the ground with a squeel, pouring tears from her eyes and to the cement ground. Before she could sound another peep, Jac's hand already clenched her throat, blocking the airflow to her unrecovered lungs. "Thought you had gotten away with escaping that torture chamber, did you?" Jacques hissed, before slamming her into an old, abandonned dumpster. "Think again." His snarl froze Bethany into a statue, chilling ever cell in her body.

Before she could process the regret of her crime, her entire body was flung from the dumpster and into another wall, one with rusty nails sticking out. Several were caught in her shoulders and ripped pieces of flesh from her skinny form. Her shriek filled the reeking air, ripple the thick smell of old blood. How could she have forgotten about her rebel act of defiance, escaping a torture session? She could bet the Shadow Taker to let her gaurd down and surprise her, teach her a lesson so she won't forget the Shadow Taker's wrath.

Like she'll get that chance.

Bethany moaned in pain as Jacques lifted her from the ground. Screamed as he slammed her into the same wall and dragged her down the wall. The nails ripped deep into her skin and splurting her crimson blood outwards, the stench adding to the thick air. And he left. Jacques dropped her at the base of the wall of nails, and walked away. His last words before he disappeared were inaudible, too distant, and Bathany's senses were weakened as her blood slowly drained from her body. She was left to bleed out, to feel her life drain from her lanky figure. And she only hoped she'd see the light of day before she left. (hide spoiler)]

I take pride in making PAINSTAKINGLY correct detail while RP-ing as a mod. I also have lots of experience being a mod in supernatural/fantasy-based RPs including the mildly popular "Survival of the Fittest", which took an eccentric concept and ran with it. It spawned a sequel that is still currently alive.
As a normal RP-er, I make sure my posts are long enough to get the best details across and reply to, but not SO long that they feel as though my character makes a backstory everytime they RP with me.
If chosen, I will help SPAM block as much as possible. I understand the need to ask a question out of RP, but when a full-blown conversation is going on, it NEEDS to be removed/moved. I will also help keep all rules safe and sound and followed by giving firm but kind reminders when one is broken. (hide spoiler)]

What Would Your Character Be Like:
(view spoiler)[ After looking through all the applications so far, I see that there are surprisingly more guy charries being made (granted most say he/she) so i would probably make a girl - I will gladly make a guy if someone else wanted the five girl positions though.

No matter the gender, my charrie would appear to be very young, probably one of the youngest rulers of the group. Early teens at the oldest, I'm thinking. Although she (I'll use just she to make it simple) is young-looking, her voice will be light and more adult than you would expect. I am thinking that if it is a female, she has the voice of Faith Hill (view spoiler)[ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExoBb_... (hide spoiler)] and if it is male, he would have the gentle roughness of the voice of the lead singer of Linkin Park (view spoiler)[ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRGSHv... (hide spoiler)] like this song.

She would wear long dresses/robes of very dark blues and blacks. They would be adorned with gemstones that would sparkle and glitter, giving her the appearance of the night sky or a blackened ocean. Her hair is long and black and shiny as obsidian; a silver halo on her head to contrast the darkness. Her eyes are two different colors: the left one is as black as her hair, but instead of shining, it absorbs light and consumes it; the right one is pure white like a cue ball in pool. They represent her emotions carefully held in check and balanced like scales. The dark side never gaining too much, else she'd be torn to shreds internally. The light side gains power at times, showing more kindness than usual, but it never lasts long.

Since she is young, she is restless and energetic. Her slaves and servants are usually put into odd yet invigorating games for her. The most deadly and fun one being Hide n' Seek. She never hides; she prefers the other way around. You wouldn't normally find this game deadly, but there's two problems. One, the place you play hide n' seek isn't exactly the most friendly or safe. Two, if you are found early, you are executed by her - you aren't even trying if she finds you that fast and then you're no fun. Her usual servants are around her age or as close to her age as possible.

Her treatment of her servants and slaves is better than any shadow taker because of her light side. You WANT to be her servant compared to the other sadistic ones. You are not chained up. You are not tortured (much). You are not killed for no reason. Servants are fed three times a day to keep up their stamina for games and are forced to sleep at least six hours a night (a tired slave is not a fun slave). If you gain her favor, she may even let you wear one of her dresses for the day. This is a great honor as she takes great pride in her dresses. There are rumors that she makes them by hand herself from the stars in the sky. Another rumor says she just makes them period with nothing fancy like a star in it. I prefer to think of the first one as being true.

Rules were meant to be kept. If you break one of her rules, you will probably lose something. Perhaps a finger... something that wouldn't prevent you from playing games. ALthough, if the infraction is particularly severe, she may take an organ or something. Something you won't miss... like your appendix or a kidney or your gall bladder. I mean, really... when was the last time you took your gall bladder out and used it! (hide spoiler)]

Her breath was quick and sharp as she raced through the forest, leaping over roots and ducking under branches. The sound of her footsteps slapping the earth echoed through the lonely woods. Leaves swirled around her legs, and twigs snapped underfoot.

The wind shrieked and howled through the tree tops like a banshee. The moon shone bright and full through the branches, flashing in and out of sight as the branches parted and swayed in the fierce wind.
Behind her, the sounds of padded feet could be heard softly against the fierce wind. Only every so often did she hear a twig snapping or a leaf crackle under its heavier feet.

She kept up her pace though, and could see lights ahead of her go flashing past. A savior in the dark of night, a road. Her steps hastened with her heartbeat as her chest heaved in and out, restrained by the tight sweater she wore. Her jeans were ripped and torn from the patches of brambles and nettles that crossed her path. The sneakers she wore were a dirty brownish-white and faded from the sun.

She snuck a peek behind her as she kept on running saw a flash of pure darkness behind her. Her blue eyes widened in terror as she increased her stride to get away. The lights ahead were so close; she could almost reach out and touch them as they zoomed past.

A growl behind her caught her attention. She looked back again and saw it was closer. Its yellow eyes shown in the darkness like searchlights. Another growl turned her around and made her speed up even more.

She was so close. The lights were only a few feet away. Just a few more moments, and she’d be safe.

Pants and padded feet combined behind her into an orchestra of terrifying sound. It shot at her ears and forced their way into her head, causing her adrenaline to rush and a scream to shoot out of her lungs.

Her scream echoed through what was left of the forest. Her feet kept on moving as her arms thrashed wildly in front of her. The road was right there. She was free.

Her left foot left the forest as a snarl woke her from her thoughts. The sound of padded feet stopped, but a growl followed her to the edge of the tree line.
A push from behind sent her falling to the ground, pain shot her through her as claws dug into the flesh of her back. She bawled in pain and clawed at the ground to try to crawl away, but then the claws came out of her back as needles of pain shot through her right leg.

“Help me!” she shrieked at the road that was only a few feet away.

Then she was dragged out of sight back into the
depths and darkness of the forest. A scream following her as her hands were drawn out of sight.

The screams were cut off suddenly, and the wind carried what was left of them away. An owl hooted nearby and flew at a mouse in a field. Success for the owl as it carried its meal home to feast.

A wolf howled at the full moon as it shone bright in the starry night sky. It was a beautiful sight.

so I made up something involving a wolf-like object and a running girl. :P
