Dusk found himself in the webbing shadows at the bottom of the staircase, which was relatively quiet this evening if he thought so himself. His arms were silently crossed over his chest and he gave no indication that he was even there. Every now and again he would hear something in the corner of his ear, but it was never anyone fun to play with. So he kept himself put strangely enough, his energy was drained today and he needed a snack, no matter who it was though he did prefer females … humans were terribly fun to mess with. And yet where the staircase never failed him it had today.
Isabelle hurried along in there and not wanting to stay around for long. She knew staying for awhile meant you would only be precious food to vampires. Just the thought being near one scared her. It even made her jumpy or shivering. She didn't think as she quietly singing a melody and hurrying or rather pretending to hurry past invisible people as she saw a vampire sitting at the bottom of the stairs. Don't look at him and things will be fine.Don't look or He'll glamour you if you dear look at him. She thought. She glanced up at him and faked a smile."It's quite a lovely night isn't it sir? You must be bored just siting there like you are."She sighed feeling stupid for saying that.
Dusk rose his eyes to look at the girl, her blood had caught his attention from down the hallway, oh before she even entered the room. It was tempting, but he tended to play with his food before actually indulging himself. He rose to his feet in a deadly silence as he smiled his sickening white teeth to her. "Actually it has been, boring today I mean. Care to entertain me doll?" He was standing in front of her before she could move, neck ducked down so their faces were relatively close. "Do a little dance maybe." He chuckled.
Isabelle kept her gaze down mur could muring things to herself as she felt so scared of him. The only thing that make her weak int he knees or show of it was being scared and nervous. She didn't back away as she was frozen there or as it appeared paralyzied to the spot she stood because of how he scared her and his beauty. Just at how he stood and it was quiet she jumped at how he was so silent. It almost seemed like she forgot that vampires were silent."That's a nice smile sir. Do you always smile like that?"She asked nervously. She shook it off knowing he wouldn't answer."I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe someone else could help you with it. I guess I could sir."She gave a nod trying to hide how she would give a silent sqeak from his closeness."Ssure sir. Whatever you want I'll do it."She said in a scared tone. Isabelle was never taught how to dance so she didn't what to do. She made it up as she went along."Anything in particular sir?"She asked hoping he wouldn't answer.
Dusk rose both eyebrows and gave a low laugh in the back of his throat, at first it was small, almost high pitched- a tad bits you could say, but then it grew into a huskier tone. "That's not the dance I was hoping for, dear. You know this may be new to you but I don't quiet enjoys dances, they're boring and largely unintelligent." He made a sort of face, hands clasped meekly behind his back as he straightened up. "I hope you know who I am, I don't like the title of 'sir'. It doesn't suit me."
Isabelle clapsed her hand to her mouth biting down on her nail as a nervous habit. She was scared he would hurt her that she couldn't show any of her stubborness or any kind of hope for that."I'm terribly sorry. I tried my best as I could. Honestly I did. Then may I aask why you wanted me to do it for you?"She stuttuered nervously."I wouldn't hide the fact of how I don't know who you are. But I don't know what you would like for me to call you. It doesn't seem to suit you with your beauty."She murmured the last part quietly not wanting to know she kind of secretly liked him.
"Dusk. Not sir, not bloodsucker," -he made a face, despising the name - "and nothing more." He took a step forward, his flawless facial features only watching her. His smile was gone, though at the edges it was pregnant that show of his formal expression still remained. He was enjoying himself despite what his words may be setting off in her brain. Or what his tone of voice or choice of word was implying. Think what they wanted, humans meant nothing but hours of fun and a good meal. She could be both, possibly. The vampire tilted his head to the side with narrowed eyes, showing another grinning smile as that chuckle arose in his throat again. "Oh you humans, I dare say I pith you. So puny and weak, quiet in your voice and wild in your thought. Devil why you were above us all those years ago I can't understand!" He flashed his fangs.
"Then Dusk it is. And you can call me Isabelle then.'' She still was biting down on her nails feeling she was getting to the she had root of it. If any more of his prescenece surely she would faint from being scare or his handsome face. She didn't know what she felt. But she did know that what ever affect he had on her was scaring the living daylights out of her. She didn't get or no wait it was rather why he had to scare her. All she was is below his ranks, and he had to make it worse for her then it was. If he could tell her trembling and how her eyes always, darted away from his then that wasn't a good sign. She stopped with biting her nails and just held her hand close to her heart not wanting him to look at her with a tilted head facing her. The chuckle he once used was yet again scaring her practically to death."Your the one scaring me to death Dusk. I don't care of that sort. Just stop with your talk. Just please stop it."She said almost in a scared tone as she saw his fangs. maybe she was scared. But on the outside she felt scared but on the inside she felt bold.
Dusk's eyes were suddenly void of any amusment and flashed a gnarly color of red resembiling his violent thoughts. He was in front of her again, their bodies practically shoving together within a blink of an eye as he grabbed the poor girl by the neck. "Did you just tell me what to do? You little bitch, if you havent been here long enough to know that's not who things work, do you understand me? Never. Again." he hissed, flashing glaring fangs. Hell the vampire could practically taste her blood in his mouth out of pure venomus anger. Then without a second thought he shoved Isabelle backward, hard, letting her tumble to the floor, no compassion for the disobedient. Or for anyone of that matter.
Somehow whe she took her gaze to look at him she wished she didn't speak as she swallowed and darted her gaze nervously. I knew I should't have spoke. I just knew it but I open my big mouth and now it gets me far worse off then any other. She thought but hoped he couldn't read it. She did know of how vampires could read minds. But maybe she would get lucky and he wouldn't read hers. It seemed like when he touched her as she felt his cold hands against her, warm neck that she didn't just shiver but trembled at how he grabbed her hard. Whatever she tought of him was worse now as she could hear the blood rushing through her body pulsing as it did. Even the sound of her heart beating not regularly but scared made her wish she never spoke to Dusk at all. Isabelle listen to him with pleading eyes to let hergo but he just wouldn't."Nno I didn't at all. I just said you sscared me. That's all I said. But I do know to follow rules and follow throug with them.''She stuttuered but nodded to his next question. Why she had to talk and be in this place she didn't know why. Maybe like she thought before it was his beauty that was only keeping her. It was like she heard vampires looked beauitful and even like gods or goddesses at times. Isabelle was to focused on thinking that. That even she didn't see he shoved her until she blinked her eyes several times until she found herself laid back against the wall. Clearly she was in way over her head but well she didn't care for his attitude or how he spoke.
"You better get you're puny head straight, if you even have a brain in there I don't much care. Because it's small enough to think I would show any mercy on you." he snapped, again in front of her, pulling her to her feet ruggedly. His fingers grasped the clothing at her waist; his knuckles would've turned white if his skin wasn't already the color of marble. The other hand shoved her arm to the wall above her head by the wrists in an iron lock. His facial expression seemed fairly slack, even with the small line of his lips sort of turned, whether it was up or down it was difficult to distinguish. "I've been dying for this all day; don't expect to be able to do much afterwards." Now was turned up, one fang peeking out maliciously from under his pale lips. "I'm hungry." he shoved her again against the wall, pssh like he was cautious, naw. He ducked his head down and bite into her, fangs finding the vein in her neck without any searching.
"I didn't think you would show mercy on me at all. I can se fom your expressions and how you speak nothing you ever do will show mercy."She said rather boldly feeling she was able to handle whatever he threw next. But it as what he did with her that took her off guard. From pulling her to her feet so she was pressed against the wall and how she felt from him was mercy, but hunger and exquisite interest in wanting to drain her dry. She thought she was tough now but would feel so worse in the end. Well the way he did act and treat her she should have kown right off the bat he was trouble. But why did she had to fall for trouble? Why just altogether it had to be something terrible that she would never quite understand no matter how hard she tried? Maybe she thought she could figure that out but she wouldn't as he had her arms locd above her. So her wrists couldn't move no matter how hard she wriggled. The way he had her she wasn't going anywhere and he wanted that way. She glared at him when he spoke and tried to move again but couldn't at all when she felt his fangs pierce her neck. To her she felt one thing but her body felt another. It almost seemed like she would sag slightly and she kind of did from him wanting to drink from her.
Dusk made a low and slow sound in the back of his throat, the blood eagerly pulling itself from her small body and slithering down his parched throat. He so loved feeding, the feeling of merriment is the second best thing to feed himself, for he had no heart. Whether it was decay, persevered, or simply not there it was impossible to say but neither matter, it simply wasn’t working let’s say. He continued to suck of the blood that ran through her body, his hand clenching her wrists before falling to wrap around her waist, tugging the filthy human closer. As low-lifeish as these humans were he was always glad to find one to appease him. On the very very rare occasion he'd actually killed one off, but others usually got to him before he could attempt to pull another stunt of pleasure like that. It was a bit of confinement but it had been worth it. The moment he pulled away he grinned, dropping her from his arms and taking a few steps back. The reaction on some of these women was entertainment in itself. Dusk's mouth and teeth were soaked in Isabelle's blood, he'd be smelling like the girl for awhile more than likely, amongst other scents.
All she wanted to do ws leave him now and this place. But as far as she knew she culdn't since she was brought here awhile ago and now she was this vampire's pleasure and delight. It was annoying how she was trapped here like she was trapped in her home when they brought her here. All these supernaturals thought they knew this and that and she wanted to show him and the others she could make it. No one would even dare try and stop her. Well she thought so. As far as Isabelle was concerned about it was only leaving Dusk to himself. But why oh why did her mind thought to leave this but her body had to betray her by liking the feeling of him feeding off her. She did know that humans were the ones to get pleasure off of vampires drinking but this she couldn't stop. Even she couldn't stop as she closed her eyes and sighed happily of him not just drinking but for how he held her close to his chest. She even let out a moan escape her mouth. If only she could stop this beforher body betrayed her more. Isabelle sagged in his arms but she slowly found herself able to handle this as he held her like so. It was once he pulled away sheelt woozy and not at ease like she always was. She put a hand to her head to gently rub at h temple hating how she felt so dizzy and things were slowly sarting to hurt or how she was seeing doubles of things.
“Ah,” his smile dropped as he lifted his hand, wiping the back of it along his lips to erase the blood that coated the rim of his lips. “I might just have to come back for seconds, if no one else feeds off of you first. In that case I may have to find them.” He chuckled in the back of his throat, taking his hand away and dropping the dirtied hand back to his side. “It’s been fun sweetheart, maybe I will see you again in this massive thing they call a castle.” Another short laugh and a wink, though he meant none of it. He would’ve been angry like previously but his thirst was practically satisfied. It was never a hundred percent cured, ever, not even one second of one day of his vampire life has he felt full.
She glanced at him. Did she really want him to lave like this? Of course not but why she did she felt ths love for him when he couldn't handle love. Just why she felt this not even Isabelle knew. It was rather irriating how her mind just wanted him to leave but kind of staid. Isabelle never felt love towards anyone but she did for him."You can have more if you like. I wouldn't stop you. I'm not scared of how you must feed or appear to be. I may have thought of it but truly I don't find a lot of things worth beng scared over by it. I don't think anyone would want me as much as you do. Maybe Dusk you marked me as your own just so you can feed off me."She said more to herself then to him. She came close to hm. Not to close but only a fare amount of distance away so she could see the outline of his features on his face."Don't leave. I uh want you to stay. Maybe you could stay and I don't know do somthing with me besides that." She felt completely stupid by saying it. But maybe he wouldn't sense her love or anything that involved it.
((Oh goodness >< )) Dusk looked at her, furrowing his eyebrows slightly out of confusion at how she could walk as well as she did, that didn’t happen when he drank from humans, mostly because he tended to over drink, in his eyes his best quality. In others they didn’t quiet appreciate him crazing their servants. He looked down at her with a face of what could be called faint disgust before slowly letting it dissolve into a short lived laughter, eyes growing wide. “Do you really think I take orders from humans? Or even requests? HA! Did we not just have this conversation?” he pressed his fingers to his collarbone and pushing her backward and off balance, uncaring of the fact that his meal might fall. If he so pleased he would come back for her, if not then that would be her loss not his. “You’re my play toy.” he said harshly, turning his back of her with dark, glinting eyes, one corner of his lips peeking up as he strode towards the stairs.
((Oh my what is it? o.o))Isabelle bit her lip slightly nervous but kept an innocent face on. She glanced up at him sighing softly as shetried to keep her face calm. Couldn't he at least try to be kind or even considerate it? But of curse he couldn't and had to be really down right rotten. She knew she was a human but he didn't need to spat it like it was a dirty word to use. She wanted to kiss him and make him stay but if sh did that he would push her away. It was when he laughed she kind of shook."No I don't think so. I would defintely liking for you to stop calling me human Dusk. If I can call you Dusk then you can call me Isabelle."She said simply."Yeah I know we just did."She glanced down with narrowd eyes as she kept her foot on the ground so he culdn't try and push her off balance. She got fed up with this and pulled him by the arm so he was close. Isabelle reached up on her feet to kiss him hard and deeply. She brought his face close to her neck as she wanted him to feed off her again as she slipped the, sleeve from her shirt of, her shoulders so he could see her bare neck and drink from her again."I know I am. I only ever want to be your play toy Dusk."She breathed and some wht smirked darkly."Your not going to leave me now if you wanted to still. Requests or orders I'm making sure you stay."She demanded.
((Dusk doesn't take affection well. He likes when they're scared of him, when they want him to leave, this is -- *shivers* Here we go, ha.)) Dusk swung around, his fist connecting to her jaw without even a seconds hesitation. He was moving so fast she probably had a hard time realizing what was happening before he knocked her to the floor. His fangs shoot from his gums despite just drinking as he towered above her, practically hissing and puffing. “You do not tell me what to do, you have no authority over someone of my level. And from now on I never want to hear you so much as think my name again. Understand? You. Are. WEAK.” He spat. This whole time his foot had been rammed down onto her arm hard enough to break it. Whether he did or not he had no time for saying and only shoved it down harder before showing her relief. It was not mercy, it was not pity, it was defiance to someone that had no say in what he got to do. No one told him what to do, he was known to even go against what the Shadow Takers said every now and again.
((I can see why he doesn't show affection now. Oh my that means Isabelle is different then the other humans. Hm maybe she can like him but is somewhat scared. *thinks and nods to self* It sounds like a good idea.))Isabelle didn't blink at all but bit her lip as she could feel his fist against her jaw and shivered slightly. She knew he was tough and very cruel and didn't care for her if she tried. But this made her regret now what she did. It was just the fact that he couldn't show any compassion or care for that wondered if any vampire could be worth being with. Maybe just for pleasure and then the next day she would be on her way. But even she didn't know what stopped her from going and leaving this supernatural to his self. Isabelle felt nervous and maybe all that boldness she and was gone as she sat back against te wall seeing as he stood over her with fangs shot out. Maybe something else was it but she couldn' figure it out at all."No one said you couldn't stay with me now Dusk. I thought you were different but I thought wrong. Your not who I thought you were at all. Fine I won't speak if you so ask of me."She said with narrowed eyes."I'm not weak. I'm stronger then the other humans. You haven't broke my spirit at all. You couldn't at all."She thought of it and now felt maybe she was losing it. Isabelle didn't know what to think but when he had his foot on her arm she flinched a little but sighed softly when he took itof. She started to breathe shaky.
