Lily walked through the trees after her hunt. She sighed feeling bored.

Callie walked down the street, very happy.

Lily saw a huge rock and sat down. The river flowed with amazing speed. She decided to use her psychic abilities and move around a couple of leafs in the air.

James sat on top of a large oak branch, staring into space.

Lily sighed, "So bored." She made the leafs fall into thr rushing river.

James hopped down from the tree, bored and a bit hungry. Life is so dull...

Lily got up from the rock and was about to jump to the forest floor. When she slipped on a wet spot of the rock. She gasped as she fell and went into the raging river.

James heard someone gasp from the river. Oh snap. He broke into a run towards the rapids.

Lily pushed to the surface. She saw a long tree branch and used her powers to control it to come down to her. Once closed she threw her hand out and grabbed the branch pulling herself to shore. She caughed as she spit out water on the dirt. Lily fell on her side tring to catch her breath.

James saw the girl pull herself out of the river. It wasn't a human. He ran over. "Are you okay? Miss?"

Lily opened her eyes and glared at the guy standing over her. She got her hands and knees under her and springed away from him. She hissed at him when she was a good distance from him.

James tilted his head. Well that was plain-out rude...

"Who are you?" Lily asked slowly standing up in her wet clothes.

"Someone who wants to know if your okay." He said.

"Well I don't need that," She turned her back on him and started walking away. Lily wrapped her arms around her as she headed some place warm.

James sighed and looked at Callie. "Is she your friend?"

"Who me? Of course she's my friend."

"Oh...is she always like this?"

"Yes. Mostly around strangers. I'm Callie by the way."

Lily walked to her apartment and leaned against the door. She put her hand on her forehead, "Stupid rock." She sighed,

"Oh...well hi Callie." He nodded. "Name's James." He looked back at the rive. "Well...I better get going..."

Lily didn't eat much on her hunt. Shefell to the floor and went out cold.

"Hi James, come over to my place, it's next to hers and you look like you have nothing to do anyway."

James frowned. "Where do you two live anyway?"

"Near the forest,outskirts of the city in a nice apartment complex."

Lily moved her hand to head and moaned.

He looked away. "Sure I guess...your right about nothing else to do anyway."

"Come on," she said holding out her hand. "It'll be faster if we just ran throw everything."

"Fine." He grasped her hand.

"You don't ask questions, do you?"

"Well I trust you; your not human."

Lily moved till she was looking at her door. "I hate today." She used the wall to stand up.

"Alright then, come on." Callie said starting to run, making sure James was still holding her hand. They ran through buildings till they got to her apartment. "Okay, we're here. Let's check up on Lily first though."

Lily grabbed the handle and opened her door. She fell inside on the floor. "I need blood..."

"Good idea. She took a nasty fall." He nodded.

Callie was about to nod, when she saw the door open. "James, come help me with her," she said walking in. "Jeez Lily, you went hunting and didn't do anything?" she asked her, sitting her up.

James blinked, watching. He grabbed Lily's arms. "How long has it been since you drank?"

"You need to drink, now." Callie told her seriously.

Lily growled, "I will...just give me a minute." She stood wabbly in the legs as she walked over to the kitchen.

James groaned. "So...you two are vampires living in houses..."

Callie sighed and followed her. "Where are you going?"

James stayed in the doorway, taking in all the scents.

"Apartments." Callie corrected him. "Why?"

"I always thought vampires lived out where no humans could see them."

"We try to blend, but this is why we live as far away from the town as possible. There's only one other tenant here, so it's practically for us only."

Lily groaned as she opened her secret place holding her stach of blood. She took a bag and bit into it.

"Aaah..." James sat down on the couch. "You should go check on her..."

Lily gasped when she let go of the bag. She wiped her mouth and went to through it away. "Better..." she mumbled. When she came to the living room and saw the same guy sitting onher couch. She turned to Callie, "Do you know him?"

Callie shook her head. "You couldn't have done that when you got home instead of waiting to faint on me?" she asked her. "He's the guy from the river."
