Unfortunately, I have never read Divergent. I have heard so many good things about the book and on the main character, but for some reason I've never gotten around to reading it. :(

Tris's ability to think and act ..."I finished reading this the other day! I absolutely agree with everything you said, and I can't wait to see more from Tris in Insurgent. :)
She awesome right? I love that she's reckless- in a good way. She proves the you can be whoever you want to be, even if everybody expects you to be someone else.
She is what she wants to be. She encourages herself a lot and that's the best part. And she says what she thinks without giving a second thought on what she's going to say. I love that about her . She doesn't hold back without thinking of outcomes
I love Tris. She is proactive. She didn't think she fit into her life, so she changed it. She sometimes wasn't ready for what happened to her, so she adapted to regain control. Tris takes matters into her own hands and makes decisions to put things into motion. Also, Tris is written to evolve as she learns new emotions. We read about her pain and sorrow throughout her adventure, and it makes her a more dynamic character. She feels.
And this may be silly, but I love it that she has a regular name - Beatrice. Plain, normal - not some crazy author made up name. And then she turns it into something everyone thinks is cool. Those flexible minds, I'm tellin' ya!
Can't wait for #3 - what does everyone think it'll be? EMERGENT ?
