Who is he/she?
If its a girl it might be that girl in the newspaper article who pulled a man out of a rock... Or did that turn out to be someone else... cos that was in argentina right and argentina's in south america right and so number five was in a plane traveling up the coast of south america right... (does traveling have to 'l's? Traveling/travelling...?)
anyway so if im wrong correct me BUT IT COULD BE THIS GIRL
actually why couldnt number five be australian? no one even mentions australia in books anymore...

I think 5 is a guy 'cause then 5 guys 5 girls. But it's probably that girl in Argentina, like you said.

BTW, traveling=American, travelling=Australian. Apparently.

I also think that five is a guy. It makes sense that there would be five guys and five girls because they are gonna have to repopulate if they don't want their kind to die out.
I can't wait to find out who five is. There has to be a good reason why Pittacus Lore waited this long to bring him into the story.

Ok, I talked to my friends about if they thought five would be a boy or a girl, and one of my friends, (shout-out to Payton, my sis!) and she said that she thinks five will be a guy because five guys and five girls. But, If you recall, they said that they pretty much just gathered the first nine kids they could find to put of the plane. They weren't counting. They probably just made sure that their were some of each.

I just think that five is going to be a girl because that's what it feels like she will be. She will probably end up being the girl in Argentina because, although Pittacus Lore writes amazing books, I don't often feel flabbergasted about what just happened.

They didn't just take the first ten people they could find, Henry or his letter states that it wasnt just chance and they were chosen to be the successors to current elders. And i think/hope that five or their cepan will be a traitor, because that is what the series needs. And with five being introduced into the series this late, they will either be a BIG character in the storyline or will die pretty quickly

True, but it doesn't have to be exactly even does it? Plus, remember that Ella (10) wasn't part of the whole thing originally either so...

Thats cuz Ella was a baby and probably didn't want her on the ship with all of the others and they brought those animals (that i forget the name of) and there wouldn't have been enough room for the animals and a baby. So they probably planned the second ship from the beginning and didn't want the others to know about it.

It just feels right that it will be 5 girls and 5 guys.

I can't remember what gender One and Two were. Three was a guy, I know that and I know the rest...

I don't think they ever told us what gender the first two were or if they did i never picked it up. I think i might have to reread them while I wait for the fourth book

I got for Xmas it has Six's Legacy, Nine's Legacy and The Fallen Legacies (1,2 & 3) in it, except for Sam's Story thing. I haven't read it yet but I have to reread first

Yeah i got to reread The Rise of Nine too. Such a great book and so much happened in it that its kinda mind boggling.

Also when they're in nine's apartment and he has the mog statues and four was all like, Omg! And started fighting them :)

That was hilarious. Is 8 the one that was the pretend buddha type deal with the tests for them i kinda forgot

yeah for some reason loads of people think that 8 is some kind of lord and i think they worship him

hahahaha I know, 8 reminded me of Percy Jackson as well, and 6's personaliy reminded me of Annabeth a little bit too - btw would you recommend I read Beautiful Creatures?

N° 1 was a girl as was N° 2.

I dont think it's stated in the main series, but it says several times in the lost files

With the rock lifting girl, that might have been one of Crayton's put off stories he put in the news, but i hope that it was five, cause that would mean she isn't evil like a lot of people seem to be hoping

Yeah, I don't really want five to turn out to be Serakus Ru. I want her/him, but I feel like they should be a her, to be another kick-ass character like eight. Wow, I haven't even seen him in real life, but somehow I know that eight would probably really hot. I really wish that they would make the rest of the series into movies. I am number four was not THAT bad!

it depends on how you thought of the book. I didn't really like it and none of my friends did, but you might. And thanks^^^^

I think Five is the biggest mystery in this series, evil?! I don't think so, misled, coerced but not evil. I do, however, think that Five will work against the Garde. The authors and now the author seem to like duality, boy/girl, Mog/Lorien, Cêpan/Garde, Piken/Chimera! Very often things in the books work by pairs (view spoiler)[ In I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Fallen Legacies and again in I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Search for Sam, we meet Adamus Sutekh, the son of Mog general who falls in love with Number One (if you haven't already, read the books they're pretty good!) But not only that he turns and helps the Garde getting Ones legacy at the same time! (hide spoiler)] Now if I follow my logic of duality, the idea of a Garde who helps the Mogs is a possibility! Maybe I'm reading way to much into this and I'm completely wrong, that's why it's a theory and at the end of the day only my opinion.

I still think that five will be normal. A normal member of the gaurd. Why does everyone think that five is going to be Serakus Ru? Or evil. I want five to be nice and a normal member of the gaurd. I don't even know why you guys think that five will be evil? If you have good evidence please tell me I would LOVE to know.

No, it was because the cant go to the ship, so they have to look for other or something like that, cause there were 10 Ancients?So they had to be 10 kids

I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned that five is a girl. It's not a 5/5 balance, for sure.

It's been mentioned? I just remember that whenever they talked about Five, they said "he/she" So yeah, not sure about the whole..have it be a perfect balance thing.

does anyone know when the next book is going to come out? or is there even going to be anymore? if not..... then poodoo! i think five is a girl because there is to many guys already.

I hope five is a guy because Four should honestly end up with six, seven should be with nine or eight (if eight survives) and if john does end up with sarah, which I would hate, six should be with nine or five.
