I completely agree, Olivia. I really struggled to get through the first book. (Haven't been able to find the courage to continue the series just yet.) This is one of the occasions in which I'm so grateful the screen writers took artistic liberties with the original book.

I LOVE Klaus!! Not a lot of people do, but I think he's so adorable, the way he'd do anything for Caroline. I love Jeremy as well :D

Well, they annoy me to no end. And Tyler...ugh. So stupid and frustrating. IMO.

I absolutly love this series!!! I haven't enjoyed tv show like this since Buffy the Vampire Slayer.I love the action and mind blowing, heart quenching moments I never see coming. All the characters are lovable to, even Klaus! Him and Caroline *sigh*.
I am totally team Damon too. Their sexual tension just wow. I was so happy in the beginning of season four but after the last episode I was just heart broken. I can't wait for the new episode Thursday. I hope the best for my couple and hopefully the writers won't mess with my feels too much as this show often does.

Isabelle - I'm kind of jealous that you are just starting. I have now watched the entire series about three times from start to finish. It's definitely one of my favourites. You must be on Season 2 now, right?

I tried watching this show once, and just couldn't get hooked. My sister loves it though, and has told me I need to start from the beginning. I just find Stephan WAY too much like Angel from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and I really disliked him. The whole repentant wounded soul doesn't draw me in.
