January 15th? How could I have missed this one?

Yes, I totally agree. Humor is one powerful way to a fair test of any philosophy, to use your exact words. Out of all the humorous "movements", I personally believe that irony and sarcasm are great tools to challenge one's conviction and to package one's message as means of understanding.

Hunger by Knut Hamsun

Joselito Honestly and Brilliantly (joselitohonestlyandbrilliantly) | 3 comments Interesting choice. Personally, however, I like his Growth of the Soil even better

I haven't read Growth of the Soil, but from its synopsis, it sounds like something very good.
Should we defer it after Hunger?

Laima btw ... Hunger is available for free download if you have a Kindle or Kobo e-reader.

Great. So even the logistics are on our side. I have set up the book for our February read.
