Twenty years ago, for our 5th anniversary, Travis gave me the entire Oxford Annotated set of Dickens, who was a favorite of my grandfather and of my darling mother-in-law's. Tiny print for my much-older eyes now, but I've put him off for way too long.

Which is your favorite? Other than "A Tale of Two Cities," which I read in high school, I've never read any others completely.

Patricia | 80 comments Oh, boy. No idea. You pick, I'll read - I would love to do something by Dickens. I have Tale of Two Cities to take on holiday some time (maybe in March?! - I need uninterrupted time and lots of head space to get into more intricate reading than what I have been doing). Actually, I read the ghost stories last year, they were OK, but not amazing. And I think Great Expectations, so not that please. Anything else would be great!!!

PS, I will write about the 3Ms after I move, but honestly, there's little to write! It's BRILLIANT!!! :)

Patricia | 80 comments Yes. I tried the Pickwick Papers and it kind of bogged down for me, although maybe I didn't give it enough time. Is that a go?!

I'm going to let you (someone besides me) pick. I have the entire set of Dickens, so I'm good no matter what!
