For me, it's easily the devil. The very idea of the devil as a cat hacking up furballs is too hilarious for words.

When is your second book in this series coming out? I would very much like to read it.
I have another stand alone that's coming out in the summer called 'Stiltskin'. But the sequel to DTDTG likely won't be out until early 2014. I can however tell you it's tentatively titled 'The Search for the Sacred Goldfish' :)
I personally enjoyed any part with Eggnog the elf dancing around. The picture in my head made me giggle out loud.

One favorite? Humpf... That's just kinda not fair you know. Neville? I mean launching people into a pool to lighten your mood is kind of epic.

I'm not in the slightest, but the mental picture of a rich guy doing that made me giggle, so into the book it went! :)
It had me laughing out loud to the point my wife looked over and said "you letting me borrow that when you're done". I guess it's not so much he's a favorite character as the stuff you have him say and do is just so very funny. So I figured he deserved a little love. And yeah... racism never even occurred to me. It was more along the lines of; that was totally unexpected and awkwardly hilarious!
But a true favorite... that’s like asking an avid reader to name just ONE favorite book.
That's awesome! I'm very happy you enjoyed it. Makes me think I should probably write the sequel so you can find out what happened to Neville...Do you read e-books or print?
Did I just read the words 'sequel'? I just let out a small squeal of delight at the thought of there being a sequel...so I think you should do it :D
Indeed there is. I started it after I finished Death, the Devil, and the Goldfish and then decided I should wait to see if the first book ever got published :) Really, there HAS to be a sequel, otherwise we'll never know what happens to Jeremiah! It's tentatively titled 'The Search for the Sacred Goldfish'In the meantime you can check out my new novel coming out later this year... 'Stiltskin' :)
*eagerly writes down the title* I'm looking forward too it and will definitely check out 'Stiltskin'. Keep writing!
I read both. I prefer to read print. Nothing like holding a book in your hand and flipping the page eager to see what happens next. Holding my tablet and tapping the screen just doesn't have the same satisfying feeling.
Jaid and Casey, as you're both such lovely people, I'm going to have some advanced reading copies (e-books) of Stiltskin available a month - 2 months before the actual release date. I'd be happy to give you each a copy if you'd be willing to write an honest review for it? :)

Awesome :) Can you email me at abuckley23@gmail.com then I know where to send it once it's available :)

Hi Nicklas, it's half completed :) I'm currently working on it and hope to have it to the publisher this year.

It was originally scheduled for 2014/2015 but I had a MG series picked up and had to push all other projects to work on it. I promise it's coming though . . . ;)

Who's your favorite character in the book and why?
(You don't have to answer this question, it's totally not mandatory. However, failure to do so will result in your leg falling off)
(My apologies to anyone who doesn't have legs, I realize the previous statement would be insulting to those lacking the southern limbs)
(My apologies to those living in the South, in no way was I suggesting that you don't have limbs)
Isn't there a question you should be answering...? :)
