Seems to me that horror movies and movies in general are struggling for ideas and the halcyon days of horror are long gone... but there are a few gems out there.

I recently saw an independent film out of the US called "Absentia".... a creepy little flick about people disappearing into a tunnel in a small neighbourhood.

I recommend you all check it out...

Amanda J Spedding | 10 comments I watched a crappy little flick last night: Arachnoquake. I love a really, really, *really* bad horror flick every now and then, and this one certainly lived up (down?) to that standard. Ridiculous plot and premise, some atrocious acting and probably some of the worst CGI I've seen in a long time... but boy did I enjoy it in all its craptacularness (I'm making up words now). :)

And I see there's another movie called Spiders coming out too. Whatever happened to horror films high on story and low on CGI?
