On twitter it says that ally is ending off a long standing character and if it's zack of liz or macey orbex i'll cry for like 2 days

At the end of the Heist Society it says it comes out September 2013...

Ay least it comes out this year, but its such a long wait!!! :( And I was thinking.. could the character who dies be her mum?

nooooo! her mom is not allowed to die! her dad already died! i have a bad feeling it's gonna be abby, personally. but, she's with townsend (sp?) so idk. it's not mr. solomon, he didn't just come back to life only to die again.

i don't think she's gonna ruin someone's relationship, so i don't think it's gonna be townsend, or abby, or her mom, or anyone like that.

I think Ally meant one of the main characters in her books (in Cammie's life) That would be great cuz the bad guy would be dead. Would Preston count as a long standing character??? don't want any of the girls to die. Or her mum!!! xx

I don't think it'll be preston, but come to think of it, it might be Macy, dying FOR Preston.

I never considered one of them dying until just now, actually, and in all honesty, it makes sense.

I wonder. But I don't think it'll be one of the girls. They're too close to Cammie. I do think it'll be one of the adults.

Are you saying her mom or her aunt aren't close enough to her? Mr. Solomon already had a death scare, same with Bex's dad, and her parents aren't even important characters, so it wouldn't be one of them. That leaves us with the girls.

No, I think that most of the reader population and Cammie would be devastated if one of the girls died. They've been a team from the beginning and they are young. It would be very tragic if their lives were cut short like that. (I'm just speculating here). I don't know. I really hope one of them doesn't die, and you're right, I don't know who else it would be, but again, I just feel doubtful.

Cammie already lost one parent though, so it wouldn't be her mom, and her Aunt Abby is basically her second parent, and she was also already shot, so I doubt she'd die after that. The only other person, besides the girls, would be Townsend, but I doubt Ally introduced him just so he could die. Thinking about it now, my money's on Josh. I feel like he's secretly a bad guy, and I feel like Ally wouldn't have continuously reminded us of his existence throughout the books if he wasn't important, so I think it might be him.

I have already read this book last year, how come none of y'all haven't. My friend found it at a library , and we both read it but i dont remember any of the main characters dieing.

I would agree but Ally said that she had got all the use out of him, he wouldn't be a main character. He was just someone Ally wrote to distract Cammie in the 1st book :) X

No, I think that when Ally wrote the first book she was only writing a book, not planning a series. I agree that he is probably going to crop back up again in the last book, even if he doesn't die because otherwise the first book doesn't really even have a point. It wont be one of the girls - nobody who kills off such a main character and pulls it off like that. In HP even though loads of people died none of the three did. I do think it will be her mum or Abby. I hope it isnt Josh. I like him :)

Suzanne Collins kills off her main characters in Mockingjay. I don't think it will Josh, I was just saying what would be a possible reason why Ally kept on using him in her later books.

i don't think Ally is that into symbolism. Josh is constantly brought up, in the second book, in the third book, and throughout series, he is mentioned. Ally's not letting us forget his existence. I think something there is going to happen. I agree with Cecilia that if Josh wasn't important, the first book would have no point. I firmly believe that he's gonna be an important character.
I would say Preston's probably going to die, but he's not that much of a major character.
Personally, I hated Josh, so I'm ok with him dying.
There's literally no one else it'd make sense for Ally to kill off...

I mean, think about it, the first book was all about her, and Josh, and being a chameleon. It had no link to the rest of the series whatsoever, until she brought up the circus thing in the last book, and casually mentioned Josh a few times, but Josh wasn't necessary to the plot, or anything of the sort, at all, whatsoever, in the rest of the books. He could have easily been taken out. I honestly don't think Ally would have a pointless character like that. She always talks about how she's more or less had this series planned out since the beginning. So, seeing as Josh was the most important thing in the first book, and the book needs to have some purpose relating to the rest of the series, I think he's the one that's going to die.
And I would say Zach's mother, but she's not close to Cammie, so I don't know.

I totally agree with you. The first book seems really weak compared to the rest but if Ally makes josh have a big impact on the last book, the first book would make more sense. But i can also see Bex dying for Cammie or Macey dying for Preston or something.

Ally has said she wishes she had killed him, he was just an experience for Cammie, Ally doesn't like the character.

Personally, I couldn't care less if any of the kids get killed off... with the exception of Zach...and maybe Liz. (I know that sounds awful. I don't mean to be unfeeling, but they were my least favorite people in the books. Sorry, please don't kill me.) But if she kills Rachel or Abby or Solomon or Townsend I will be soooooooo mad!

OMG, THAT WOULD MAKE MY LIFE! Hale and Zack would probably be bffls and complain about the women in their lives, and Liz and Simon would be the cutest couple ever. Gabrielle and Bex would probably argue a lot, I feel like. I want Cammie and Kat to meet, and to talk and just, yeah. I feel like they'd really like each other.

there are 6 Gallagher girl books, and 5 already out. THE LAST ONE IS COMING OUT IN SEPTEMBER GUYS! AND IT IS ENTITLED "UNITED WE SPY"! SO EXCITED/SAD/REALLY REALLY EXCITED/PROBABLY GOING TO SOB!!!!
