Jillian Thanks to Charlotte Harper for clicking "like" on my review of My Brilliant Career or else I may not have found this fantastic challenge! I have quite a few un-read AWW books sitting on my bookshelf, so I thought I may as well crack them open for the challenge.

Tirra Lirra by the River
Foveaux
All That Swagger
Poor Man's Orange (which I have read, and loved, and purchased my own copy, but not opened yet. Ruth Park is my all-time absolute favourite AWW, or writer for that matter, even if she is technically a Kiwi!)

I recently worked my way through a fantastic collection of Australian short stories compiled by Don Anderson called "Contemporary Classics 65-95" which has introduced me to many excellent AWW, sadly, I have never even heard of most of them! If I can finish reading the ones above, I will be seeking out books by:
Thea Astley
Nadia Wheatley
Helen Garner
Kate Grenville
Janette Turner Hospital
Elizabeth Jolley
Joan London
Gillian Mears
Amy Witting

So this may end up being a "Franklin" after all!
