The Vampire Diaries discussion

So maybe you've already heard, but there will be an Original spin-off of TVD here. I don't know if it's 100% sure, but a TVD episode in April is "back door pilot" here

Although I like most of the other characters more than the Originals (and Hayley) I think it's a good idea. They are complex characters and you can't show it all within the screen time. That might also be the end of Klaroline, yeah .
And there are many fans of the Originals since Season 3. It seemed to me that the fandom was once again divided into two groups: Team Mystic Falls and Team Originals.

So what do you think?

I'm more of a fan of the Originals now than the main characters (the Stefan/Elena/Damon love triangle is starting to bore me) so I'm really excited about this. I wish Hayley wasn't going to be one of the main characters in the spin-off, though. She's been my least favorite character on TVD this season.

I sounds interesting, I guess I will follow it. :)

I like the originals very much but I fear for me they need Elena, Damona and Stefan as a counterpart to work! and I like seeing Klaus trying to get into Caroline's panties.
And I also don't like Haley very much.
But hey, maybe I'm wrong and it's going to be a good show. I would sure give it a try.

I love the originals especially klaus and Elijah!!! Like they shut everything down when they want something. It's a good idea that they're doing this but I still hope they're going to still be in the season for vampire diaries if the producers continue for season 5 and that the originals will have there's while there still in the show for vp

Vampire Diaries is still continuing. The Originals, Hayley, and whoever else joins the spin-off just won't be on TVD anymore aside from any cross over episodes they might do between both shows. :)

I absolutely love it except for Haley being on the show!

why is Haley going to be on that show?

My theory is it's going to be revealed that she is a descendant of Klaus's biological father. They gotta make her relevant to The Originals somehow and most of the fans don't want her to be turned into a love interest for Klaus.

I think they all will be apart of it for sure.

Come to think about maybe there will be more of Elijah (sp?) he hasn't been around since last season. Was he in any episodes this season? I don't think he was though...I could be wrong.

Elijah will return to TVD soon :) . Not sure in which episode (18 or 19)... and then he will be part of the spin-off (ep 20).

I was that wishing that all of the original family members would come back, even though some of them which is mostly are dead. I was hoping that the original series was going to be a spin off of them in the past and how it all started and how they came to be

Team mystic falls and team originals r my favorite but I'm going to have to go with the originals because I love klaus and Elijah and also because they're filming in New Orleans which where I was born and raised! I still live there and might I a glimpse of them filming!!!

Oh really? that is pretty sweet. Is it only going to be Elijah and Klause in the orinigals or at somepoint is it going to be rebekah?

Rebekah will also join them :)
But I think she and maybe Klaus have some unfinished business in Mystic Falls, so they might appear in the last episodes of the season.

Damon has been known to be pretty reckless too, though. "Reckless" was his middle name during the first season. LOL

I think Kol would have eventually calmed down once we get to know him more. That's what usually happens with all the "bad boys" and "bad girls" on TVD. Kol just needed some time for his story to be explained to us. But unfortunately the show wasn't willing to give him that. :(

I loved Kol! And those bastards should have listened him about Silas and now poor Jeremy's dead and they r all screwed. I bet they're regretting killing him as they should humpf!!!!

I hate that stupid cure so much! It's turned all the characters into a bunch of idiots. There's definitely something wrong when Kol of all people is the only one thinking logically about the affect the cure and Silas could have on everybody.

Yeah there will definitely be a big twist. I doubt Elena will be the one to get cured. I think someone will force the cure on Damon.

I read it too he touched the black rose that was meant for Stefan. Maybe Stefan will get it this time or no one will get it. Maybe it will get dropped

yeah exactly but I think it was a different flower not a black rose? but anyhow it happens something like that.

I watched the Originals episode and I think it has good potential. I am definitley going to watch it in October...or was it November when the series is going to air?

I love the Originals. I hate how they are being killed off. ( I am still weeping for Kol.) Klaus is uber sexy, but I can't stand Haley. And though the Originals episode was good. The whole child thing is a bit over the top. Wish Caroline featured in the cast. * Sigh*
And if the spin-off means we can see more of Elijah, it doesn't get better than this! :D

The Baby thing is weird I have to agree. I wonder if Klaus has accepted it since he came to Caroline's rescue.

October 2013 on Tuesday nights and it will be before Supernatural, 8/7 central, time slot on the CW.
