Contemplated Yellow Birds, but thinking Billy Lynn has the edge in the playoff, so instead threw my (likely equally wasted) vote to Building Stories.

Agree with Christina that Gone Girl and Fault are likely zombies, more so the latter as I am detecting/suspecting GG backlash.

I really did not like Gone Girl, but I guess it has its fans and could put in a good zombie showing. I think Fault in Our Stars touches a tender spot that makes it a good zombie. I can't wait to read Beautiful Ruins!

There wasn't much Song of Achilles love going on in the other thread, so that's where my vote went.

Song of Achilles was also my entry. It has been around on Goodreads for a while, so may it'll make it :)

Voted for The Fault in Our Stars. This book stayed with me for quite a while.

My vote went to Beautiful Ruins.

I voted for Building Stories thinking it was likely to get an early boot if the format is a challenge. Looking at comments here and other threads, I'm starting to think Song of Achilles and Beautiful Ruins might be divisive titles - seems to be a lot of love and a lack of love for each.

Beautiful Ruins though The Orphan Master's Son was a very close second.

Beautiful Ruins for me, but I voted before I finished Song of Achilles. . . had I read both at the time, I honestly don't know which I would have picked/clicked.
