This idea came to me from another group I'm in where the topic was how you rated your overall books.
I am asking how you rate cook books/baking books. Please stay on topic of cook book rating only!
I rate cookbooks on several criteria. To get a 4 or 5 star rating a cook book/baking book, it must have unique recipes that I have not seen, want to write down more than 50% of the book, and be things I want to make over and over again. Since I am a vegetarian, I also look at how many recipes can be made to suit my needs as well.
If a book does not have anything I haven't see before, with little or no twists, is badly put together and/or has little to no decent pictures, then it gets 1-2 stars.
A 3 star is I wanted only a few recipes, but the over all book was decent.
Again, keeping to cook book/baking books only, how do you rate them?
