Zoe is quite an interesting character, I think. Do you think that what Zoe did was ust wrong, or do you think she had a reason and it wasn't entirely her fault with the cheating on max thing and pushing max into the river

Haven't come to the end of it just yet. My question is how realistic is it for a seventeen-year-old girl to write about sexual exploits to a stranger in prison? More later…

I think its entirely normal for someone who is 15 have crush on 2 boys...yes it is wrong especially if the boys are brothers , but its not an awfull crime especially not one which deserves the punishment of living with the guilt of someones death over your head for the rest of your life. I thought the conclussion of the triangle was fairly realistic /believable ... in 99% of situations like this there would be shouting and perhaps fighting , but awfull things can happen when people are out of control..Do I think Zoe killed Max ? No ..she was responsible for his death as was his brother , but it was an accident ...

I think it was an accident, but she shouldn't have cheaated, although I do understand it was hard.

She didn't actually cheat... she never did anything with Aaron. Oh wait- yeah she did but it was hard for her because she had always liked Aaron more... It definitely was an accident with terrible consequences. I loved this book, finished it today. She is a really interesting character and I like the fact that she doesn't try to defend what happened or say that it wasn't her fault at all. I think she's being a bit hard on herself but if she wasn't then I probably wouldn't like her as much.

I think that what she did was wrong but it was a complete accident and she hates herself for it, she should never have cheated on max that was wrong but hopefully she learns from her mistakes in the book she definetly has a lot of issues...

I just read this book and I think it is childish because it was an accident. I expected a brutal murder. I know it is a YA book but it was kind of disappointing for me. And (asking your question) she didn't cheat Max becuse she wasn't even her girlfrind.

What happened at the end? I found it confusing!
