Alexa and I plan to continue the Revenants series and read book 2!!

39 chapters, 357 pages..

I was thinking we could read 13 chapters ~ 3 days? And have it done by 1st February. Or we can have it done by 2nd February and read 10, 10, 10 and 9.

What do you think? I don't mind to be honest, I'm guessing you're in lots of other buddy reads so I have no idea if its going to work out for you or not. :>

I would love to do 13 chapters! I have a ton of books to read for February (for the Valentine challenge) so I don't want this one to get lost in the mix :)

OH!!! And then FINALLY Papy's book that she is peaks into and then deciphers into Latin! We Knew He knew more! I'm so glad Katya knew too!!!

I'm so sorry I haven't had the chance to reply, I had no time left to read anything yesterday so that meant I have to read 26 chapters today. I've read the first 13, read a couple at school because it felt so rude not getting back to you on here as soon as possible :)

I agree, heavy chapters! I'm so worried about their relationship, if its like this soulmates kind of thing or destiny or this prophecy thing.. Have you noticed how she keeps resembling her and Vincent to the statue outside Jean-Baptiste's house?!

At first I was so alerted by Violette and Arthur, especially Violette as you said (Vincent liking her and all) I'm still a bit skeptical of them though. I'm not suspecting Violette as much after her and Katya getting along so well :D she's just too funny like how come she has never seen a film? It really put a smile on my face and I was shaking my head LOL! She's been missing out on lots..then again she's over 500 years old LOL!!!!

DON'T even get me started on Arthur!! He was such a **a bunch of rude** words** like how could he even do that?! She's having a horrible time without his help, he SO didnt not have to add to it. It was completely unnecessary, it made me so mad.. She started crying and I just ugh :( what a rude old man.

And yeah!! We soooo knew ;)!! I'm still wondering if her Papy is involved in that stuff or if he just kept those books to add to his collection. Can Revenants recognise Numas? If not then could it be possible that her Papy was a Numa-or something along those lines? Because if Revenants could recognise them then Vincent would have noticed right?


I liked the chapters too :D going to start reading the rest in a bit. What did you think of Charlotte leaving? :( and Genieve's husbands death? :( so so sad.

I'm also really worried about what Vincent is up to :/ and Violette is really really interested in Kate's relationship with Vince.....isn't that odd? Is it out of pure curiosity? Or is she up to something hm..

yes, wasn't that a crazy first set of chapters. It was so heavy after the end of the first book was so light and cute! Who knew it would be such a tough decision!!!

I think Violette is absolutely up to something. Did you notice the firs time Kate hung out with her was because Vincent was called away on a tip from Violette and it proved to be incorrect??!?!?! Ugh, it just sounds fishy. I'm so worried that her brother with his bad attitude in showing the true colors of what those two think of Kate!

I think Revenants can recognize Numas...but would that mean her Grandpa is really dead?

I think Kate's family has the genetics to become Revenants or Numas.... I think her Papy has the books and knows the words because their family has a history of possibly changing. Wouldn't that be crazy? I think that would also explain why Vincent was drawn her from the start....

Ugh, maybe that's just what I hope! :) I want them happy, ya know? and that would make it so much easier! (not that I want Kate to die or anything but if she does, it'd be great to think they can still be together!!)

Okay, off to read 13 more chapters! :D I hope these are a little lighter! LOL!

I agree I just want the best for them too! Oooh I really like your kates-family-genetics-revenants thought..really convincing, it could actually be that! And Violette we shallllll keep an eye out for :)! Whatever she's up to clearly isn't good..

I just noticed I forgot to mention my huuuuge liking for Jules :D he's just so laid-back and playful!! I really like him, wish he could show up more and not just when he's "flirting" with Kate LOL he's so adorable.

DID YOU READ CHAPTER 21 OMG!! Talk about action (finally!!!) like what was that?! Those Numas? why did they decide to attack them at that moment..they've been staying under the radar for an awful lot of time now..hmmmm

I feel so sorry for Georgia, I feel like its too much for her :(! Kate has like more "experience" /knowledge with/to those things I guess and Georgia has just been in that kind of situation once and it did and did not turn out well.
Anyways that was so bravely done by Kate, she's on her way to become a kickass heroine I can so see it coming ;)

I'm not gonna lie, I'm still reeling a little from Chapter 24's ending. I just re-read it. I just don't know what to think of it!?

I had to do some stuff but I just got there and WOW CHAPTER 24 ENDING, I CANT BREATHEEEE, if there is a love triangle #Team Jules, honestly I just ugh like his character so much.

I mean I like Vincent too but he seems like the typical guy the mc always falls in love with!!

The wedding was just really intriguing, it's nice to know the revenants do fall in love as charlottes point keeps being mentioned (its hard to find someone because of the not so many revenants, it's easier for them to fall in love with their own kind).

I'm glad they live like normal people apart from their revenants stuff of course,

I know, I know *sobs* poor Jules, you know I honestly didnt believe he had feelings in that way for her..I just thought it was him just being playful ya know. At the same time I DID think of the faintest possibility that there was something more than playful in his mind. But the author TEASING us like that, RUDE!!! especially those of us that've grown fond of him :( o well. Wouldn't want this turn into a fight between Vince and him or some forbidden love thing. I just hope she doesn't continue teasing us because, I'm becoming so emotional over him and I'm rambling /end of ramble. LOL.

He might be lying or trying to lure them in, judging by the stuff he has done. I take a step back from that guy. He won't ever get my trust back unless he earns it back. :>
