Park your religious sensitivites (or noted lack of religious sensitivities) on the shelf to read this one...and gread all the way through...it gets better and better.
I found The Unbearable Lightness of Being very difficult to read and I didn't finish. Just wondering if anyone else has read it?
Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~ wrote: "You will never figure out who the killer is!"That will not convince me to read it!
Ugh. I was lying. It did :-\
Katherine wrote: "Anyone read the historian by elizabeth Kosovo. Excellent."I agree. very good read.
@Kyle, I'm going to have to give this book a go. I'm usually good at figuring out the ending so would love a challenging book :)@Christine, yes I've read Sickened. Great book. I found it very sad though. Munchausens by Proxy (sp?) is a terrible sickness.
I'd have to say that "Unwind" left me speachless. Well sort of at least. Brilliant book with what I consider to be a scary theme. The descriptions near the end of the book, totally messed with my head.
@ Lynn and Kyle I am also usually good at figuring out 'who done it'. Definitely interested in reading Valentine!

Who is the author of Unwind ? I would like to add it to my ever growing TBR list ..... I would be interested in reading Valentine too.....should we start a buddy read ?
Who is the author of Unwind ? Unwind
Stephenson
I'm also interested in Valentine but I won't be able to read it this month.
-Yeah I guess alot of books make me speechless mostly having to do with death and survival? Idk but thats my pick

House Rules is about a young boy with Asberger's Syndrom e who is fascinated with solving crimes and profiling serial killers. Then he becomes a suspect in local murders. It's an excellent book!

Katherine wrote: "Anyone read the historian by elizabeth Kosovo. Excellent."This novel is massive and I must admit it took a huge commitment on my part "to say yes to the book!" However, once I was in, I was captured by the premise, the characters, the travel, the mystery, the absolute complexity of it all. I must be truthful and found the ending a bit obtuse until I spoke with someone else who had read the book. It was worth every minute.
The book that really filled me with peculiar images and feeling was Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Did anyone else manage to climb through this huge tome?
