Rachel, my general impression of him is "quirky and depressing, but upbeat". I'll have to see if that rings true!
Never read anything by this author. I always give scifi a try, so we will see how it goes. I will be listening to the audiobook of this title.
I am still waiting for the library on this one, but since it's pretty short and I've been waiting to try this author forever, I'm going to read it anyway.
I read the wrong book! I read 'The Time Caster'. Awful book, I can't imagine why they wasted the time to make an audiobook of it. I'll have to look for the right book after I finish this March's selection.
I really liked it. A little strange, but an easy listen and Dan Steven's voice is lovely. It certainly got me thinking about how I make use of time. It would be nice for life to not need timetables and deadlines but unfortunately that's not how the modern world works.
Finished this book late, of course because I read the wrong book in February. Really enjoyed it! The only issue I had was why it was necessary to isolate Dor for such a long time. Surely the author is aware that long time isolation of humans results in severe mental illness. Certainly something a god would be aware of. Then to claim it was not a punishment? Yeah, right.
Just finished this in audiobook, it was so short! Was this is a little slow going for anyone else? I didn't feel like I really got into the story until Sarah and Victor showed up in the narrative. After that, I became very interested in the characters, especially Sarah. I really enjoyed how Dor appeared in their lives. This was a very unique story to me.

To begin with, I have never read any of Mitch Albom's books before. Anyone out there a huge fan? He seems rather diverse in topic!
