Do you use Evernote in your teaching role? If so, how and why?

Michael | 1 comments I use Evernote for bookmarking resources and articles. All my favourites on Twitter are automatically sent to Evernote using IFTTT.

I also started using it with my class for bookmarking research. They weren't very good at keeping track of where they got research and then couldn't reference it. Saving and tagging to Evernote lets them find it easily.

This book has given me a few ideas! I've just downloaded a scanning app to my iphone which takes pictures of docs and turns them into PDFs and uploads to evernote. I'm going to try using that to keep track of some of the work samples and papers that come across my desk instead of storing hard copies.

Wendy Williams | 1 comments Corinne what is the name of that scanning app it is just what I am after,

Hi Wendy, the app I use is called Cam Scanner. There is a basic version and a professional version which you can get for free if you use an education email to register. (At least, you could when I signed up)

Stuey Mac | 4 comments I use Evernote for taking notes at staff meetings or PD's mainly - love how you can take photos of things you are working on & slot them in between the text so you know where they relate :) I use it more as a personal tool than for teaching at the moment

Jordin O'connor | 3 comments I've started using it to take a picture of the directions or a picture in our reading and writing class to project on the board. Love Love Love it!!! So much easier than printing multiple handouts.
