I love KILI and FILI!

Thorin Oakenshield and of course our little friend Bilbo

Kili definately. <3 and Fili. Gollum is adorable in the movie too! His expressions are so cute!

Thorin Oakenshield is very much so a leader!

I have always loved Bilbo and felt that 'The Hobbit' was his story & his introduction to 'the lord of the rings' that continues the tale with Frodo.

I love how Bilbo gives Frodo the sword, the unbreakable vest, and the ring!

I'm sorry. WHAT?! Does the discussion of this topic really say "Who is your favourite character?"??!! Seriously?? D:

BILBO OF COURSE!

xD Bilbo is the best character in any series I have read, I think. He's amazing. And awesome. I was so delighted to find him in the LotR too :D He's so cool! :)

What are your favorite traits that he has?

His dry humor and wit. He doesn't intend to be funny or act strangely, but he does and we all love him for it. Secondly, it is Bilbo's caring side and how compassionate he is - his love for the pony in the film when he gives it an apple is so sweet (i love that part!) and finally it is his enthusiasm for adventure and not acting like the 'typical' Hobbit - for he chose to go and in doing so made himself become someone heroic, unique and very special indeed.

It is definately Bilbo's story.

He's really brave. And he surprises everyone - including himself. I love how all the dwarves grumble about bringing him along, but in the end ... they wouldn't have gotten anywhere near the Lonely Mountain without Bilbo. If it wasn't for Bilbo, they would have been spider supper a long time ago. If they escaped that, prisinors of the Mirkwood elves.

And his humor, Lucinda! One of my favourite lines from the book (I pretty much cheered. It was a great line) is this:

"After some while Bilbo grew impatient. "Well, what is it?" he said. "The answer's not a kettle boiling over, as you seem to think from the noise you are making."

Haha! Good on Bilbo :)

What is the funniest thing he says?

Not sure in the movie. But that's the funniest in the book :P

He's great :) Can't wait for the movie to come out on the 19th on DvD!! :D You can currently pre-order it from the hobbitshop.com with free postage, I believe ... if anyone's interested.

Bilbo and Kili. I must admit it was kind of hard getting used to some of the new characters though, where I'm so used to the ones in The Lord of the Rings movies.
But they was all really charming, and very likable.

I was fortunate enough to have never seen/read LOTR when I watched The Hobbit (have done both now :), haha.

lol. i immediately loved Kili. who couldnt. haha. and Bilbo was awesome. i love the bit when they lose the horsesand Bilbo suggests telling Thorin then they are like. "No... theres no need to worry him."

Me. I couldn't xD. Kili ... everyone likes Kili -__- Except me, haha. I like him as much as all the other dwarves, yeah, but he wasn't nearly as awesome as Gollum and Bilbo :)

I like kili best. But I'm not just one of those fangirls who lives him because he was hot In the movie. I loved him In the book as well.

Aside from Bilbo, in the movie I loved Wizard Radagast and his bunny sleigh!
