Merlinda swam through the water practicing her song.

Tempest roared softly and dragged the piece of meat deeper.

Tempest finally found her cave and swam inside. She dropped the piece of meat onto the floor and covered it heavily in rocks.

Tempest observed her work before roaring and swimming back up to the surface.

Jane sighed swimming around everyone

Tempest roared and came back down.

Jane looked at Tempest and hid behind some coral

She flicked her tail and cut it on a sharp rock. Tempest roared in pain and turned slightly to see some blood floating in the water.

She saw the blood and swam to her 'Easy there' she and her voice soft and delicate, she got out something to bandage it up

Tempest's eyes narrowed to blue slits and and thrashed around, trying to avoid Jane. Never trust the mermaids.

'Easy please' she murmured 'Im trying to help you' she looked at Tempest, she looked so small and innocent compared to a large sea dragon

Tempest's eyes softened slightly before she narrowed them again. She roared and swam towards her cave.

She quickly swam to take cover she watched her leave

Tempest entered her cave and dug around with her snout in a pile of glimmering stones.

She sighed and swam out to the great ocean wondering what was above her

Dante entered the water, diving right in.

There was a coral reef up ahead and he swam up to it.

"Where are we going?" Mimi asked after she took out her mouth gear.

Rebreather diving is used by recreational, military and scientific divers where it can have advantages over open circuit scuba.
Since 80% or more of the oxygen remains in normal exhaled gas, and is thus wasted, rebreathers use gas very economically, making longer dives possible and special mixes cheaper to use at the cost of more complicated technology and more possible failure points. More stringent and specific training and greater experience is required to compensate for the higher risk involved. There are two main variants of rebreather — semi-closed circuit rebreathers, and fully closed circuit rebreathers, which include the subvariant of oxygen rebreathers.
The rebreather's economic use of gas, typically 1.6 litres (0.06 cu ft) of oxygen per minute, allows dives of much longer duration for an equivalent gas supply than is possible with open circuit equipment where gas consumption may be ten times higher. Now let's go!"

"That's a lot to take in," Mimi thought in her head, "Alright, let's go."

He dove in and looked around gaps in the coral reef as soon as he found what he was looking for he grabbed its neck and took a sample it would be paralyzed for five minutes he motioned to her and started swimming towards the cave.

She saw him motion her down, and she saw the beautiful sea. She was overcome with pure happiness.

When they got to the cave he saw the shoreline of the beach in it he swam up to it and got out.

She saw the doctor getting out of the water on the shoreline, so she did the same.

He looked around at the various stalagmites and stalactites all sparkling with the blue water of the ocean he sighed in happiness.

She took off her mouth gear and asked, "is this the cave? It's gorgeous!"

"Yes this is a place I can go to relax and have good memories." He said.

"It's very beautiful," she said, " so what would you like to talk about?"

"I'm not sure my life has been a drag up to the point till I got on this ship, so how's your life."

"Well, my life has always been a terrible one. But I found two great friends on the ship," Mimi said.

"Who?" He asked.

"Alice, the one I was with before I left with you, and Zavier. And I guess I could call you a friend now too."

"I'm more of an acquaintance really." He said.

"Whatever floats your boat then, haha," Mimi said.

He shook his head and laughed.

"Don't you have a wife? Or kids?" Mimi asked politely.

"No." He said flatly.

"Why not?" She pushed on. "Curiosity is definitely going to get me killed," she thought.

"When you've seen to much it's hard to love again." He said with a shrug.

"Aww that's really sad, but I guess being alone is the only way to be happy," Mimi said.

"Depends on how you look at it." He said.

"I don't plan on stuff like that. I'm just used to being alone, so it's not a big thing to worry about, "Mimi explained.

"I've just gotten use to being alone, no one loves me and I love no one." He said. "So I dive as you can see it's very fun." He said.

"I'm sure you'll find someone out there, you just gotta keep hoping. I, on the other hand, have lost hope, because I never had hope. Being in a relationship will only tie me down from moving forward. I can't stay in one place, get what I'm saying?" Mimi said.

He nodded "I would go back to the army but can't cause of my leg."

"Hmm, well being a doctor can't be too bad," Mimi said.
