When Curt and Anna go down the mouth of the Lechuguilla cave one last time looking for Sondra, I had all kinds of trepidation going on in my mind. I was pleased they found her, though I never really liked her. The surprise was yet to come. What did you think of Oscar and how he tied into Frieda and her initial accident.

This was one of the scenes that totally helps to put the entire plot of the story together. Looking for Sondra is the means by which they went down into the caves again, but to have Oscar turn up and Anna exploring on her own to find out what Frieda was actually doing when she was hurt the first time. Was glad they were able to find Sondra even though I never liked her but to be cunning enough that Anna could stop Oscar from killing them all. I was surprised it was him that did the damage, and happier than heck that he didn't get out.
