Recently Joe wrote a blog post about a new short story collection that will include his story:

http://www.joeabercrombie.com/2013/01...

He also listed all short stories he wrote and where they were published:

The Fool Jobs – in Swords and Dark Magic, edited by Jonathan Strahan and Lou Anders

Yesterday, Near a Village Called Barden – in the Waterstones hardcover edition of the Heroes (I think these two are also with the enhanced ebook of the Heroes)

Freedom! – in the Waterstones hardcover edition of Red Country

Some Desperado – forthcoming in Dangerous Women

Tough Times all Over – forthcoming (probably not soon)

I have not read any of those. Have you?

Stas (radicallyinconsistent) | 15 comments None of them, unfortunately. :(

Dorothy Oh :( neither have I read them, but I will be looking for them.

Zachary (zacharywbouvion) | 4 comments (9 months later) Has anyone read them yet? "Fools Job" was a cool Northern romp. I've only read the First Law Trilogy, but there's no recurring characters from it. It features Whirrun, a name i've seen in the threads. If anyone's read them, can they help me place them in the series' timeline.

Nickronomicon | 20 comments Sounds like Whirrun of Blight one of the best characters in The Heroes. I'd love to be able to just purchase his sort stories singly.

Silvana (silvaubrey) I've only read Some Desperado, just because it is in Dangerous Women.

Tough Times All Over will be included in Rogues, another anthology.

Really wanted to read the first two, because it's related with The Heroes characters.

Zachary (zacharywbouvion) | 4 comments Some Desperado was a cool Red County tie-in. I also read about a David Gemmell tribute anthology with an Abercrombie story. Anyone know if this is First Law-related? (The other stories seem to be in Gemmell's Drenai setting... ?)

message 8: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) I read Tough Times All Over in Rogues anthology and it felt like watching a montage or movie trailer. Felt weird. It was just okay for me. Many familiar characters were in there.

Nickronomicon | 20 comments I liked Tough Times. I thought it was much better than Desparado. Would have liked more tie-ins to The First Law series.
