I am hoping for 65 books. I would love to read more but I want to make sure it is realistic for me. I may update the number later in the year, as I tend to read more in the summer.

I have many books I would like to read. I have 2 boxes of unread books in my closet and many on my Kindle. I like having a selection to choose from, depending on my mood. Right now I am reading Jane Eyre. It is taking me longer than most books I read. I like a variety of books: young adult, adult fiction, trying to read some classics.

The One You Love
GoneBy Michael Grant
It is the first in a series. I really enjoyed it. I am interested to see how the rest of the series plays out.
I just finished Cinder. I read it as a buddy read. I liked it more as I read on and I think discussing the book with my reading partner helped me like it more too. Now what do I read next?
Finished book 8 for the year Pride and Prejudice. I love the story of Pride and Prejudice. Now I have to carefully choose my next book because I want it to be able to pass for a few of my challenges.
My next two books are decided. I am going to read A Heat of the Moment Thing. It was a fee ebook in exchange for an honest review. It will work for my May mini challenge. There are just so many books I want to read! I really want to read Cloud Atlas in May with this group but there is no way I will be able to swing it. It will have to stay on my TBR shelf for now.
I finally finished book 9 Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I really enjoyed it. Started A Heat of the Moment Thing last night.
13. I just finished The Great Gatsby. It was a re-read for me. I read it in university but I wanted to re-read before watching the movie.
So I am reading Unforgiving Years by Victor Serge. It is the last book in my May challenge. It also fits in with my decades challenge. I need to plan out my next reads to finish my decades challenge.Possibilities Could Include:
Catcher and the Rye: Year 1951
The Giver: Year 1993
One for the Money: Year 1994
Along Came a Spider: Year 1992
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn: Year 1943
To Kill a Mockingbird: Year 1960
The Slaughterhouse Five: Year 1969
I need to choose 3 from different decades
14. Unforgiving Years Completed June 1st. I liked it but didn't love it. Now I have to decide what to read next.
Joined the Royalty Challenge. I said I would read 3 books for this challenge. Two books have to fit the decades challenge and I would like the books to also fit either my every year challenge or the Good Reads 100s challenge. My first pick is Slaughterhouse Five Centred around War
My second pick is The Waves Great work of Literature
My third pick is Princess Bride Strong Female Character
15. Slaughterhouse Five is read. I started Ulysses but soon discovered that it wasn't the real Ulysses. It was full of Republican political crap. I will have to get a paper copy of Ulysses. Guess I read The Waves next.
16. Just finished Interpreter of Maladies. I haven't read a book of short stories in a long time. I liked it.
19. Along Came a Spider.I am really behind in my reading goal. I need to pick up my pace if I am going to make 65 by the end of the year.
Wow, you have been really going fast these past couple of days. Good luck to catching up on your reading (:
Thanks! I joined a challenge in another group where I have to read 10 books in 14 days. I am on summer holidays so I have the time.
31. Captive in the Dark32. Just Remember to Breathe
I am only 3 behind my year goal. At the start of summer I was 14 behind. I hope to get ahead of my goal because I don't read as much when I am working.

I really enjoyed it Melissa and I am not a huge sci-fi fan. I am sure I will continue with the series.

i read enders game earlier this year and surprisingly loved it. im gonna read the next book eventually but im gonna dwindle down the books i already have first.
I know! I am the same. I keep trying to get through my books too. I have three big boxes of books in my closet, my friend gave me a big bag full of books and I have way too many on my Kindle but I keep buying more books! I do try to ban myself from buying more books but I can't help it!
Im exactly the same as you! I have 2 boxes of books and I keep buying more books for my Nook. And I keep adding books on my tbr list on here. So I want to get those books too!
38. You Against MeI really enjoyed this book. The author did a good job portraying the impact of the events of the story on everyone involved.
