What is a book that made you cry (or, if you're not the teary sort, what is a book that really moved you?) These might be happy tears, sad tears, or angry tears--tell us about what got to you (without giving spoilers!)

Mrs. S (silversteinela) | 3 comments The Time Traveler's Wife makes me cry so reliably that, even though I have read it several times, I refuse to bring it on mass transit of any kind because it's already made me ugly-cry on a bus once and that's more than enough. The book uses time travel to amplify and explore the ways in which people--even people who really love each other--can be in different places at different times in their lives, and some of the moments of missed connection are devastating. I love this book, but I recommend reading it alone, preferably at home!

TojumiOluwa Adegboyega | 1 comments The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. That series was one of those that pulls you in, immerses you in the world, and doesn't let you go until the last page. I felt the characters' emotions so deeply...definitely a tear-jerker.
