Izza walked into the school, happy that she could now take pics of the school. She wanted to post the pics online, joking about how she no longer had to go to school, being 18 years old. All the students had gone home, and Izza didn't see any staff anywhere.
Lee was getting ready to leave the math classroom. After she passed this class she would be done with school. She thought that once she'd be done with school she would move to New York and act off broadway. Now finishing school meant more hours at the delivery center. Lee sighed, grabbed her notebook and left the room.
Izza bumped into Lee when she tried to enter the classroom. "OMG, ew! Who are you? You hair is like, trashed!" she exclaimed.
"Sorry uh, excuse me?" Lee looked the girl up and down. Okay sure she had a perfect cheerleader body and gorgeous blonde hair but.... yeah Lee had nothing. Lee was still in her work clothes which consisted of old jeans, a brown t-shirt, and her often unruly blonde curls were shoved under a black beanie, but that didn't give this girl the right to be rude. "What are you even doing here?"
"Um, whatever I want! I'm like, 18, ya know!" Izza exclaimed, as if it was obvious. "What about you? What are you doing here?" What gave this girl the right to ask her questions like this?!
What was this girls deal? "Umm well I'm 16 and getting homework because I still have school. Your 18 and actually have nothing to do here." Lee was too busy worrying about her girlfriends bipolar episodes to deal with this.
"I totally have stuff to do here!" Izza grinned. "I'm gonna take selfies here, and post them online with captions about how I no longer have to go here!" She was so glad she didn't have to go to school anymore. It was much funner to be 18.
Are you kidding me? Lee thought. This girl had some whacked up priorities. "Seriously? I didn't think anyone still cared about how many likes they could get on their conceited posts and were more worried that the majority of the world's population dissapeared out of thin air!" Gosh why was Lee letting this girl get to her. She usually just killed others with kindness and went on with her life but this girl was just so, Lee didn't know but she did know that she did not want to talk to her anymore. Lee waved to the girl and began to walk past her.
Izza growled. She threw her phone at Lee, hitting her in the back. "Everybody cares about how many likes I get! EVERYONE will like my posts!" Izza shrieked, stomping her foot repeatedly like a 3 year old. Wait, no, a 2 year old.
Lee stopped dead in her tracks. The phone probably left a mark on her back. Lee knew she should just keep walking but it wasn't fair. Why did Wendy have to loose her amazing family, when conceited bullies were still here? With that thought fueling her Lee turned around, looked the girl right in the eye and stomped on the phone, shattering it.
Izza screamed louder than she had ever screamed before, which was saying a lot. Izza was quite the screamer. "OMG why did you break my beautiful phone???" Izza screamed, running at the phone, falling to her knees, and desperately trying to piece it back together as she kept screaming.
Lee took a few steps back and watched this girl scream and cry over the broken pieces of plastic on the ground. Lee felt kind of bad, but also knew that this was stupid. It was just a phone. "Seriously? It's just a phone. Haven't worse things happened? Like I don't know the dissapearance for example?"
"OMG don't be stupid! It's not like my family ever liked me anyway! They suck! They all suck!" Izza screamed, throwing a chunk of the phone at Lee's foot, and missing. "Just like you!"
Why does every girl Lee know have to be so emotionally unstable? I mean, she didn't actually know this girl, but Lee really wanted a friend. Someone she could talk to without worrying that they would snap. Why couldn't people just be positive? Lee loved her girlfriend with all her heart, but she was starting to loose her positivity and that scared Lee. "I'm sure that's not true. Look I'm sorry. If you want you can have my phone. I never use it anyway." Lee pulls out her iphone 5 and starts to try and help the girl up.
Izza stood up with Lee's help. "How new is your phone?" she asked. She didn't want some ugly old phone. "Does it have a bunch of games on it? Which apps does it have?"
Lee flipped the phone in her hand. "Umm it's an iphone 5c. The uh canary version. Apps wise there's the basics like facebook, instagram, and youtube. Then there's also netflix, hbo, the broadway.com app, and i don't know a bunch of other stuff. Here take a look." Lee hands the phone to the girl and smiles. As far as the world needed to know Lee was still friendly and positive and outgoing and kind. "My names Lee by the way."
Izza took the phone and examined it. "Thanks! What's the passcode?" she asked. "And I'm Izza Croft, the best, most fabulous person to ever exist." She honestly thought that she was the best, most fabulous person to ever exist.
Lee laughed. Not that she would ever in a million years think about anyone other then Wendy, this girl was kind of cute. She was almost as bipolar as Wendy though and Lee loved Wendy more then anything. "Yeah of course. Passcodes 1865. Sorry again about your phone."
"Mm-hm." Izza said, typing in the password. "OMG, that song is like the coolest!" She pointed to a song on Lee's phone, since she had just opened up the iTunes store.
Lee smiled and looked over Izza's shoulder to see what song she was talking about. "Yeah it's one of my favorites" Lee reached over and pressed play on the song. Right after the song began to play, Lee noticed that she had a text from Wendy. "Hey can I check that real fast? I'll just tell her that I gave this phone away and am getting a new one."
"Who's Wendy? Is she your sister? Your stepsister? Ugh, steps are, like, the grossest." Izza said, still staring at the phone. "I've got a step, she's like, THE brat!" Izza just hated siblings altogether, to be honest.
Lee attempted to reach for the phone. "Uh no she's my..." Lee paused for a moment. Lee was always open about her sexuality but sometimes she still got nervous telling new people. Even if she lost a possible friend due to it she knew that the person wasn't the kind of friend she wanted, but the judgement still hurt. "She's my girlfriend actually. Can I txt her back please?"
"Kk! Not gonna stop you from texting your bestie!" Izza said, handing over the phone. By girlfriend, she had thought that Lee meant best friend, not girlfriend as in someone she was in a relationship with.
Lee just sort of stared at her. She thought that she had been pretty straight forward with the "girlfriend" thing. Wendy was her bestfriend. Lee almost didn't want to clarify, but she knew that she had to. "She's not my "bestie" she's my girl friend. As in she's more then just a friend."
((Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever! :( ))
Izza blinked a few times. "Okay?" she wasn't sure what Lee meant by more than a friend. "Well, text her back, it's rude to keep people waiting!" She shook the phone a few times, signaling that Lee should take it.
