Woohoo!
And, as a heads up, my name is Wren not Wern. Just saying.
So. How do you want to start?

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Sorry! I typed it and it didn't look right and then I changed it. I'll fix that right now.

Umm that is a good question. Do you wanna do something where two of our charters are already working together. Or it's dark someplace and they start fighting and then later on become friends or something?

Hey hey. It's okay. Don't worry. I have to spell out my name a lot. And people are all like, 'Like the bird?' So that's a way to remember it. Like the bird. ;)

Hm. Maybe.
Just wondering. Do your characters know each other? Dyvian and Alyce do. They're met on the occasion. Alyce is kinda...thug-for-hire. She's a rogue fae.
I don't know. Maybe Alyce meets Tanner when she's on a job. Maybe the court is trying to kill him. Without sullying their hands. And since she's rogue...
Perhaps they meet in pairs. Like...Alyce meets Tanner. Dyvian meets Meghan. Maybe outside. Like she needs something from him or vice versa.
Just throwing ideas out there...

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments No, mine haven't meet each-other yet. mm that could work. I say we do the whole thing with Alyce and Tanner, meeting and most likely getting into a fight. And then---- I don't know for Dyvian and Meghan.

message 6: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Hm. Alright. Maybe we can figure it out as we go. Who knows, they might come into play later.
Let's start with Alyce and Tanner. I can start if you like. (Like...a starter? I'm not sure how to describe it.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Its okay, I know what ya mean. Yeah, can you?

Of course.

message 10: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce hid in the corner, shrouded by the shadows. Her breaths came out in short puffs as she waited for her moment. Her katana was grasped tightly in both hands.
The ski mask clung tightly to her head, molding her face into a lump of something.
A drop of sweat ran down her temple.
Her heart beat was slow. Abnormally slow for someone about to do what she was going to do.
But she had practice. Years upon years of practice.
Her grip on her katana tightened.
There.
The flash of hair. The glint of his eyes.
That was him. Her mark.
She slowly uncurled from her crouch against the dull green garbage bin. She narrowed her emerald eyes, targeting him in her mind.
Attack. Slice.
Blood.
She grunted softly as she moved forwards. The shadows flung to her body, shifting with her every movement.
Crack. She froze, ears twitching. A sound. A soft sound. No human would detect it. But she did. Because she was Fae.
'What is it now?' she thought, gritting her teeth. She threw a glance over her shoulder and saw nothing. She exhaled softly, relief flooding her mind.
She turned her mind to the task at hand. She slunk forwards, boots kissing the concrete ever so slightly.
There. There he was. Tanner. A Fae just like her.
She never asked why people were to be killed. She just did it. But she heard humors of him. He compassionate Fae. 'Ha. As if,' she scoffed in her mind.
Snap. She whirled around, katana poised and ready.
Nothing. Only darkness and emptiness behind.
Her eyes narrowed further, turning into slits.
'Who is it...'
She felt it. The metal bit into her skin.
She hissed in annoyance.
"Don't move." (Sorry. I had to make him say that. Sorry.)

Is that good? I'm not sure... I can make her actually attack him if you like.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments ((Lol it's okay. Yeah, that was a lot more than I was thinking you'd put. But I like it))

Tanner knew someone was after him. Someone always was.
It didn't really mater where he had been hiding or where he was. Someone always found him. And now that he'd gotten kicked out of the Fae realm after so many years of being threatened by it. He was finally free.
Well as free as one could be, when they were on the run for there life that was.
He thought, changing derctions. He'd been able to track down a boy that looked enough like him that he would throw off the person the Queen had sent to kill him this time. They were getting smarter.
But so was he. Making a soft noise with his foot on the pavement, then hiding again, sneaking closer.
Closer. Before making another noise, causing the girl to look back again. Rushing around without making a sound so she wouldn't hear him coming. Then put his blade that he'd gotten to her back, telling her not to move.
Waiting a whole sixty seconds before asking what he really wanted to know, even though he had a good idea he already knew. "Who sent you?"

message 12: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) She scowled. "As if I would tell you," she said, her voice muffled by the mask.
'He doesn't know me. Exactly how I hoped it to be. But how...' She bit her tongue. 'He doesn't need information. And I won't give it to him. Teach the guy a lesson.'
She snapped her head back, smashing the back of her head into his chin. She slammed her heel on his toes.
Quickly trying to escape, she twisted in his grasp.

(Sorry. I can't write more. I have to wait for his reaction. Again, sorry.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Tanner yelped when he felt her head collide with his chin only to be meet by her foot smashing his. "Ow!" Shaking it off even though it still hurt like hell. Grabbing her again and spinning her around to rip off the mask she was wearing. "Now, I'm going to ask you again. Who sent you?"

message 14: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) She gasped at the light hitting her eyes. She scowled.
"Shut up," she snapped. "You know I won't tell you. And I know that nothing you do will hurt me." She glared at him, eyes full of fire.
"And now...I'm going to kill you. Don't take it personally. I don't." Her hand slipped into her thigh sheath, and she yanked out one of her two twin daggers, both carved by masters long ago. "I don't care if you scream. No one will hear you. And if you fight me, that's essentially pointless," she said as she slashed at him. "I'm not the bumbling fools they've sent before."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Tanner reached down, quickly and snatched the other short dagger from it's other place on the thigh. "I didn't think you would be.... although, like them I've also gotten better."
He told her holding up the dagger that he'd stolen in front of her with his own that he'd pressed into her back moments before. "And just so you know-- I'm not a screamer- I'm a fighter."

message 16: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) She scowled. 'My dagger. Damn you...'
She stepped back, brandishing her dagger. She was still reeling over his theft of her dagger. It was precious. It was a gift from the last person in Japan to trust her. The last member of her village to trust her.
"How dare you..." she seethed.
She glowered, waiting for his attack.
"Wouldn't have guessed," she snapped, sarcasm lacing her words. "But I know you're not just some smartass. You're clever. I've watched you. So why do you need to know? You know."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments "To make sure I'm right..... seeing as there's more than a few people at court that want me dead. I just want to know what one it is this time." Tanner said, waiting on the attack. If he could get her to talk, to him and tell him who it was this time around he wouldn't attack her. Seeing as he didn't really want to but would if he had no other choose.

message 18: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) She bared her teeth. "I'm not telling. Spoilers." (DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE FTW.) "You don't need to know anything. And you can't make me talk."
'He's not fighting,' she thought. 'And I should wait for his move. I know I should stop talking. Talking and fighting isn't a good idea. Kanato taught me that years back.'
"Aren't you going to attack?" she hissed, trying to provoke him.

Wren (wrenlee) (I have to sleep now. Night.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments ((Night.))

"Not if I don't have too..." he told her, even though he was sure it would cost him. Seeing as she seemed ready to fight him and win. "How about this--- instead of fighting each-other, which I'm sure neither one of us would win. Why don't we just talk this out, see if we can't make some kind of agreement."

message 21: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) She forced out a harsh laugh. "Talk? Agreement? My job is to kill you. And I will do it to my last breath. And I don't intend to die at your hands. I've lived a long life. I hope to continue that." She flashed a wicked grin, showing her canines. "How do you know it'll be a stalemate? I've been fighting since I was young. I was born with a sword in my hand. Time has honed my skills." She knew she was boasting now. Not the smartest to do. But her pride was getting in the way. She was being underestimated. Which wasn't something she enjoyed having happen to her.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments "Because, I might not of been born with one in my hand. But I've trained under one of the greatest sword masters there is still around. So I think with how much you know and how much I know about it--- neither of us would win." he said keeping the daggers up and ready to go if she started towards him.

message 23: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) A smirk flitted across her features. Her sharp cheekbones and narrowed eyes.
"Doubtful," she remarked. "You don't know what I've seen. The wars I've fought in. With gun or sword or bare fists." She paused then bit down on her tongue. 'Enough bragging. This is taking too long. The sneaky fool... He thought he would keep me talking to avoid death. But death comes for us all, child.'
"Hey. Did you see the movie? Man. It was CRAZY," a person said. Their voice echoed across the alley. Alyce didn't dare a glance behind. 'Someone's coming. Hurry. Quick!' She darted forwards, slapping her gloved hand over Tanner's mouth. Pressing the tip of her dagger to his throat, she leaned in close. The smell of her shampoo a sweet rose scent wafted into the air. "Speak and I'll slit your throat," she hissed. "Bite my hand and I'll gut you. Shut up and let them pass."
She was careful. Cautious. Mortals may see a mugging. But a mugging was enough to give her whereabouts away.
The footsteps receded. She took a step back.
"You know you're not going to get me to stop killing you. I appreciate the effort, though. I haven't had a conversation with another...being in weeks. Months maybe," she whispered. "But you'll die. Everyone dies. Some just...last longer. But you have many after you." She pressed her dagger to the place over his heart. "And now it's your turn."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments ((Bawhahaha!))

Meghan had been out scouting the area. There had been reports about some rough Fae around these parts and people had started to notice. Even though she'd heard form some of the people at the Institute that whoever the rough was; was smart. Always staying out of the way just enough people wouldn't catch on.
Smart enough to make half of her kills look like muggings. Hearing whispered voices coming from behind her from the ally. Sneaking down it, to listen to what was going on. Seeing that the rough had found her next vic already. Bad news for him..... and tonight for her. Seeing as Meghan was planing on bringing her in.

Tanner smelled her shampoo, when she pulled him into the shadows. It smelled like roses and her. Which he had to say if she wasn't trying to kill him right now it would of been nice. Ah who was he kidding she smelt nice either way. He thought just as he heard the voices pass. Standing up once she steeped back and started talking again. "I don't think so... you see I'm not one that's just going to roll over and let you kill me, like the other folk you kill." Biring the daggers back up.

message 25: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) (What?)

She grunted softly. "Why don't you just submit?" She sighed softly and jerked forwards. She aimed at her dagger at his chest. She twisted and bent her body into odd contortions to aim for exposed parts. "You won't win," she whispered.

Dyvian strode through the streets. He paused, spotting a girl by the gaping maw of an alley. He pursed his lips. He dipped his hand into his pocket. He pulled out his sweetheart Sunshine's locket. He rubbed his thumb over the engraved words. 'My lovely slice of the sun'. He smiled weakly before sticking it back into his pocket.
"What's that?"
He heard soft grunts and sharp inhales. He frowned in confusion. Slinking towards the source of the sound, he spotted the girl again. His frown deepened. 'Who is that? What...' He shook his head. A furrow appeared in his brow. He let a little flame appear on the tip of his finger as he stayed back.

(I want her to get hurt and need Dyvian's help. So Tanner can hurt her or Meghan can.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments ((Evil laugh. Night.))

Meghan stood up to get a better look. This was going to end right now. She thought drawing back her knife and throwing it. Aiming for the girls arm. So that it sliced part of it but didn't go in. Seeing a strip of skin come off and the blood start to flow.

Tanner had gone to defend himself by going to swipe her blade out of the way of landing in his chest. But was distracted by the blade that went whizzing by his head and cut her arm open. Spinning around to look for where it had come from. Not seeing anyone but perairing to spin back around and go after her if he had too.

message 28: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce gasped in alarm. She staggered back in shock. Anger flashed in her eyes.

Dyvian peeked into the alley. 'Red hair?' His eyes widened. 'Alyce.' He knew Alyce. She was a notorious hired gun. While he didn't love Alyce, he was prepared to help anyone in pain. It was just in his nature.

Alyce pressed her arm to her side. "You bitch," she hissed. She searched through the darkness, trying to find her attacker. She clutched onto her dagger tighter.

Dyvian slunk forwards, clinging to the wall. The only glow was from his flame.

A flame flickered in the corner of her vision. Alyce hissed softly.
"Show yourself," she snapped. "Show yourself!"

Dyvian let the flame flicker out. He heard Alyce's shouting. She wasn't the best at getting hit. She hated it. She was lithe, though, so she didn't get hit often.

"Alyce. Alyce of Hearts? Is that you? I haven't seen you in ages," a voice called.
Alyce stiffened. Only one man called her that. One man. Not ally or enemy.
Dyvian.
"Show yourself, warlock," she hissed. "Are you my attacker?"

"I would never. I'm a lover not a fighter," he replied calmly, stepping into view. He held up his palms. "You know that." He smiled, the flash of blinding white teeth appearing.
"You're ruthless when it comes to revenge," Alyce hissed. "I know that."
Dyvian let out a soft chuckle. "Ah. You think of an old me. I am renewed. A new man. Just like you in years past. Correct?" Alyce grunted softly and aimed her dagger in his direction.
(Aka Meghan can attack. All three if she likes. And Alyce is wounded.)
"Shut up and fight me," she snapped.
"Always to the point. That might be your downfall," he joked.
She narrowed her eyes and growled like a feral animal.
"Your talking might be your downfall."

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Tanner kept glancing between them. Not trusting them, not to team up and attack him together. Although they seemed to be getting ready to go at it too. Slowly start to back up lowering the dagger he had stolen from her.
But keeping the other one, the one that he had with him, up just in case things turned bad.

Meghan wanted to attack them.. all of them. Not just the girl any more. But decided to bid her time. See what happened, see who was on who's side. And all that going back into the shadows further. So not to be seen.

message 30: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Dyvian's eyes shone. He grinned cockily.
"Come out," he called.

Alyce's eyes darted from left to right.
"Stay calm. We'll find where he or she is attacking from," she murmured. She shoved her dagger back into its sheath and pulled out her katana.
"Magic man, light things up," she ordered.

Dyvian obliged. Hovering orbs appeared from the darkness. They glowed emerald and crimson, hovering between the two colors.
"As you wish, Madam."

Alyce scowled and held up her katana.
"You willing to fight with us, compassionate Fae?" she asked Tanner. "Or are we fighting on two fronts?" She assumed Dyvian was on her side. Of course he was. He was compassionate and caring. And had ties to her he couldn't sever.
No matter what he tried to do. And he had tried before.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Meghan didn't move as she saw the obs show up and start glowing. As long as she was able to stay in the shadows she wouldn't have to worry about them or the light finding her. Watching as they darted all over the place. Being careful not to make to much noise as she pulled out her other two knifes she'd brought with her.

Tanner thought quickly about it, then said. "Well seeing as you did just try to kill me, but I have no idea who the new comer is. I'll take my chances with you." He said keeping a sharp eye out for any more daggers or things coming there way.

message 32: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce flashed a grin. "Allies now. We have a common enemy," she said calmly.
Dyvian prepared himself. He took a deep breath.
"There!" Alyce cried. A sound. Just so soft. Barely audible. She whipped out her dagger and aimed it in the direction she heard the sound. A furrow appeared between her brows.
"I can't..." She spun in a circle. She froze. "Compassionate Fae," she hissed. She gestured wildly behind him. Dyvian threw out an arm. Invisible chains soared through the air, aiming for Meghan's ankles. Alyce threw her dagger. It flew through the air, hilt over blade.

(Hey. Is it okay if we sped things up a bit? As much as I love fight scenes, just waiting for an attack is a bit tiring. Could Meghan attack? It's hard for Alyce or Dyvian to if she's hiding. They're good fighters but not superhuman. Even if they are supernaturals.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Meghan saw something coming at her, ducking it, and circling around behind them. Before leaping out. She knew the odds where not in her favor but she'd came here to get the rough and she was going to do it. Even if that meant fighting three people at once to get the job done. Landing on her feet with her two blades out in front of her. Not waiting for them to rush her. Just running for the first one that moved.

Tanner spun around when he saw someone jump out of the shadows behind all of them. Bringing up the daggers again. And had been ready to rush the girl that had jumped out but ducked again when one of the other two threw something at her instead.

message 34: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce saw the flash of movement. She whirled around, raising her katana to strike. Her dagger embedded into the wall, zinging softly. She grunted.
"Who are you?" Dyvian demanded. "Why are you attacking us?" He raised a hand. The orbs turned a dark shade of crimson.
'Floating, glowing things can look menacing,' Alyce thought. She dodged the blade. "You," she hissed. Her eyes were only slits. She slashed, twirling out of the way.
Dyvian felt his wings pressing against his suit. He groaned in annoyance.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Meghan was able to move out of the way as the rough went after her. Hearing the warlock asking who she was and why she was attacking them. Well, she hadn't planed on attacking three people. She'd only been planing on going after the rough Fae and then calling it a night. But guess that wasn't going to happen now.
Getting ready to slash at her again when something hit her in the middle of her back. Spinning around to find the other guy--- the guy that the rough had been sent to kill, throwing twigs and rocks at her. "Is that really all you got? You're holding two daggers and your throwing twigs and rocks at me?"

Tanner had been to shocked for the few minutes to do anything. But had started throwing rocks and twigs at the other girl as soon as he'd gotten a clear hit on her while she'd been fighting Alyce. Mostly just to get her attention. Even though he was holding the two daggers still. Seeing as he didn't want to kill her he just wanted to distract her long enough so that he could fight her himself. "Yep. Thanks for noticing." He told her before he started to lung forward.

message 36: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) (Wait. Meghan was going to attack Alyce? Or Tanner? I think they're both technically rogues now...)

Alyce let out a sharp laugh. 'Man...' She dodged a hit and slashed. She lashed out with a kick to the girl's solar plexus.
Dyvian threw an orb of fire at Meghan. "Three against one. You won't win," he cried. The crimson orbs pulsed. Then converged on Meghan. Dyvian furrowed his brow, concentrating. The orbs started to move towards Meghan. Advancing. As if they had life.
Alyce punched. She bobbed and weaved. She lashed out. Booted foot aimed for limbs. Solar plexus. Head. Knee.
Dyvian threw the orbs into fast-paced motion. They were launched through the remaining space at Meghan.
"Dyvian!" One orb slammed into her arm. She winced, letting out a soft squeal. She fell to the floor. Pain was etched across her features. "Oh fuck," she cursed. She was out of commission.
Dyvian yelped in alarm. He didn't...didn't realize. He swiped his arm through the air. The orbs disappeared.
But Alyce continued to be frozen. He rushed forwards. But didn't realize...
Their enemy was still there.
He cradled Alyce's head with flowing crimson locks in his hands as he concentrated.
"Have my back," he called to Tanner. "Fight her off until I can heal Alyce." Then he started to hum.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments ((She was going after Alyce and then she got distracted by Tanner throwing the stuff at her. And then after Meghan asked if he was really throwing rocks and twigs at her. Tanner attacked Meghan.))

Tanner heard Alyce's cry and then heard Dyvian yelling at him to keep her off of them while he healed her. Wondering what had happened. But didn't look back to see what was happening. Weaving out of the way as the girl went to swipe at him with one of her daggers. Blocking it with his own a moment later as she came in again. Asking as they fought, "So, you wanna tell me why you're attacking us?" Blocking another swipe while leaning back. "Not really, but if it makes you feel any better: I wasn't aiming for you, and I'm also not here for you either."

message 38: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) (I see. Just clarifying.)
"Guessing she's here for Alyce," Dyvian muttered. He waved his hand in front of her face.
'I'm...dead. Gone. Kanato...'
Her lips mouthed the words as Dyvian unfroze her. Her limbs filled with warmth.
Dyvian hummed to focus. He hummed to concentrate. As he worked, he hummed. To make sense of things.
He knew the battle raging behind him. He had to focus. The world seemed to be swaying. He bit his lower lip.
Alyce's eyes blinked. Emeralds. Two perfect emeralds. She slowly wiggled her fingers.
"Don't get up too fast," Dyvian instructed.
But once her body was freed, Alyce leaped up. And fell down. She grunted in annoyance. "Just heal me," she snapped. Dyvian shook his head. "That's not how things work," he said gently. He placed a hand on her cheek. She swatted his hand away. "I fight," she hissed. Dyvian shook his head.
"Can't do that," he said.
"Get my dagger. Use your magic," she ordered.
Dyvian frowned. "Fine." He pointed at the dagger's general direction. It reappeared in his hand. He held it out to Alyce. "Just an opening," she muttered. She aimed it, arms shaking. "There." A flash of skin. She threw it.
It whistled through the air.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Meghan felt something sharp brush by her arm and cut it open. Glancing down seeing blood already dripping down her arm. Swearing, hoping it didn't lead to blood loss or else she'd end up on the ground. And losing the fight. Swing her blade at him again. Only to have hi duck out of the way. "You wanna give up yet? That's a lot of blood.... and it's just going to keep coming." He said as he swung his own. Ducking it "No. I came here to do a job. And I'm going to do it, one way or another."

message 41: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce let out a sigh of relief. She leaned against the brick wall and grasped her katana with her free hand. Her hurt arm stung like a bitch. She didn't know how well she could fight.
"Me too," Alyce called. She gestured to Tanner. "He's my job. But are we fighting? Nope. Suck it up, sister. Go home." She raised her katana. "I'm ready." She stumbled forwards, unsteady.
"Thanks, Fae, but I can take it from here," she said softly. She readied herself.
"You will bleed more if you don't surrender," she hissed. She smirked. "I'm good."
Dyvian watched this exchange. And saw the dagger on the ground. He slowly moved towards it. He moved in small increments. An inch. Another. Another. He glanced up, watching the two girls eyeing each other.
Alyce charged. She kept her hurt arm to her side, tight and not swinging. She slashed in a tight arc at Meghan's middle. One cut. Only one would do it.
(Not to kill. To incapacitate.)

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments "Ya know, I don't think so.." She said ducking out of the way of the strike. Throwing up her own daggers to hold it off. Wishing she'd invited someone along to help out with this case. When she'd said she'd do it she had only been counting on just fighting the rough. And not two other people at the same time. This was hell.
Trying to fight three people at once with a cut arm, not good. Besides, vampires could be out already and looking for a meal. And then she'd end up some vamps dinner. Seeing as they didn't go after Fae all that much. Something to do with there blood or whatever. And Warlocks were just to powerful for them to mess with. Swiping at the girl again.

Tanner had been ready to keep going but then backed off when Alyce came up, and started taunting the girl. Knowing if a angry Fae was mad, and you got in the way. Even if you where a Fae yourself.. you better be prepared to move or go down fighting them yourself.

message 43: by Wren (new)

Wren (wrenlee) Alyce appreciated Tanner backing off. She didn't mind. She was a lone wolf. Always so.
She lashed out again. "Dyvian!" she cried.
Dyvian frowned. He pressed his body to the wall. He tried to hide. He tried to blend into the shadows.
She dodged the strike. "My arm!" She shook it gently. It swayed a bit.
"Sorry! Can't!" he replied. He let the shadows cloak him as best as they could. He used his magic the rest of the way, finishing the cloak up. He slowly moved forwards once Alyce had focused on Meghan.

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood (cassiecrow) | 1105 comments Meghan wasn't really paying the warlock that much mind. So far he hadn't struck out at her. And she was thankful for that. Seeing as fighting two was taking all she had. And right now she was only forced on the girl that she'd come to pick up. Maybe she'd get even luckier and the other Fae would go away or get hit over the head with one of the flouting orbs. That would be even better. blocking another hit. Hearing her calling for the warlocks help. Hearing that he couldn't help her seeing her arm was still bleeding a lot. Wondering if she could tire her out enough and along with the blood loss she'd just pass out. That way she could take her back and question her.

Wren (wrenlee) (No no! It was BookCon. I'm alright.)
Dyvian waited until he was behind her. He then threw out an invisible block. It was aimed at Meghan's ankle. He hoped to trip her, so Alyce could restrain her.
Alyce didn't notice Dyvian. She threw herself at Meghan. She was hoping to land a few punches and take Meghan down.

Meghan had been so focused on not getting caught or taken down by the girl she hadn't even noticed or heard the warlock come up behind her. But she sure did notice the block that her foot tripped over. Cruising when she almost broke her ankle on it.

Wren (wrenlee) (A convention for books in NYC. I had to fly there. And I got tired. I couldn't do much about being tired. So I showered and slept.)
Alyce grinned as Meghan went down.
Which meant she went down as well. She jumped off and landed in an awkward crouch. She groaned softly and got to her feet. "Fae boy," she called. "Got cuffs or something?" She pressed her knee into Meghan's back. "Who are you?" she demanded. "Tell me." She scowled.
Dyvian smiled. 'I did something,' he thought with delight. He laughed softly and got up. He brushed invisible dirt off his pants and strode over to Alyce. "Here. Let me do something," he said. He crouched over Meghan's body and placed his hands on her wrists. The smell of burning flesh filled the air as he placed a spell on her skin. It bound her hands together with invisible, magic chains. (I'm not sure of everything warlocks can do. So invention time!)

Meghan yelled as she felt him burn her skin. Making invisible chains around her arms. So that she couldn't use them anymore. Grate... now she was really wishing she'd brought that back up. Feeling her knee digging into the center of her back again once the Warlock had chained her. Looking over to see the other Fae just staring. Like he was thinking he'd made a big mistake of some kind.
Although had no idea what it could be. "I'm Meghan... a Shadow hunter."
