How do people become mods?

There's a mod application thread, which is currently closed. We consider all applications, but in the end we pick the most active members. Basically, if you're active, it's likely that you'll become a mod at some point.

How do people create a group?

I know I'm not a Mod for this group but I know how to make one. It's under the 'Groups' thing at the top of your thing. where it says Home, My books, groups, Recs, and Explore. When you click on groups one of the things you can do is make a group, it should be at the top someplace.

What's the thing?

I do not get it

You know next to the search box when you hit the 'group' thing at the top. Off to the side of it it asks you if you want to make a group.

Are you on mobile or the website? I don't know if you can make a group on the app, but you definitely can on the website.

Ok I just got on the website. But I can't find groups.

Have you found the home button? It's on the header bar, beside search. Two buttons right is the groups button, click on that.
