"Summer Reads" All Year Round! discussion

How is everyone feeling about the book so far? Have you started? There is a lot of cake mentioned in the first few chapters!

The cake made me hungry, but I'm pregnant so.... I was actually surprised when I started reading because this book isn't the norm for her novels. Usually they are set in the present and are a lighter read. I am enjoying it, though!
