it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
Should I read the short story before Unravel Me first?

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments YAAAAS! Definitely read Warner's novella. It might help you understand him

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
okay will do

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments Isn't there a novella after this one too?

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments yeah but meh, I never read it

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I bought the novella and was going to reread over the weekend but I forgot how chatty my brother's girlfriend is. Didn't have a chance to read at the lake at all but I'm on it now! How is it going Raquel?

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
im going to read the novella first as well. i'll prolly start it tomorrow i wanted to finish one of the books im working on now i only have about 25 pages left but i work till 10 tonight so busy... but ill finish it tonight!

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
You starting tomorrow as well then?

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments Yeah. I think that's my plan. I've been dealing with a lingering migraine for 2 days now but I think I'll be over it tomorrow.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
Oh no. I've heard those are very painful. Are you like dead to the world when you get them I know some people can't do much of anything when they have them.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I can be functional up to a certain point when I have them depending on the type of migraine. Yesterday, I spent the majority of the day in bed with the lights out and an eye mask on. Today I can be outside and work but I can't eat and it's miserable. My mother has to be taken to the emergency room when she gets them so I'm very lucky.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
Oh wow I am glad it's not that bad. Well I hope you get better where you can eat and what not. It seems like your on the mend is there anything you can do to prevent them or do they just come whenever they want?

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments Drinking a ton of water usually helps prevent them. Good medication too. I tend to get auras beforehand so I get a good warning before I get them. If I get ahead of the headache, I can prevent them sometimes.

I feel a lot better now. :-D I managed to get some exercise which helps occasionally and drinking tea has helped calm down the stomach issues.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
Thats good.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments *shakes fist at crappy genetics*

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments Have you tried really strong coffee? Most migraine meds have caffeine, acetaminophen and something to help you sleep. The combination usually makes me nauseous but it really works.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I've heard of that but never tried it. Usually I'm too nauseated to drink anything, especially coffee. I wish I could though! Do you get migraines?

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments Yeah. Bane of my existence. I get nausea too. And every sound is like hammering to my ears and the second I open my eyes it feels like looking directly at the sun. It's horrible and I turn into the biggest baby ever.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
I am so glad I don't have to deal with them. They sound horrid. If migranes are worse the headaches I can understand why one would turn into a baby.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I'm so sorry! That sucks. They are insanely debilitating.

A hot bath with a cold washcloth on my forehead helps me sometimes. Isn't one of the things that you want to slow the blood/inflammation going to your head?

Do you need total silence or does white noise help at all?

My mother is convinced that her method is the way to do it. She takes a boiling hot shower in the dark, takes three advil and an advil pm. To each his own, right?

(I'm hijacking the thread, sorry)

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments Well what you should do is counteract what's causing the migraine which is usually vasodilation, that's why most of the meds for them have caffeine. Other have amphetamine. They both help by vasoconstriction. You also use analgesics like ibuprofen which is advil cause that helps with the inflammation.

Personally, I prefer no noise and being in the dark.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I wouldn't wish migraines on my worst enemy.

Dark rooms and silence are my way of going as well.

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments I would probably wish it on Jeb :P

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments Haha but isn't he supposed to be a good guy?

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
lol you would

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments That little human nutcase IS NOT a good guy lol Do you not remember all he made us go through!?
I FORBID YOU TO FORGET!

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
It's okay we know human guys are not good enough for you Melissa hehehe

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments LOL I prefer moths :P
Or Warner lol Always Warner

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
I do like it that he can fly, flying always wins over everything else.

I can't wait till I can hopefully be able to understand what people see in Warner.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments We need to just find a Jericho/Warner/Morpheus combination for you Melissa

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
JERICHO!!!!

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I'm getting insulted on a review for the first time and I can't stop laughing. I can't decide how rude I want to be.

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments Definitely Jericho too! All things not completely human drive in wild lol. Hey was I the only one who also really liked V'lane? Cause I was seriously inlove with even after that ending. I think in his warped mind he was kinda in love with mac.

I wanna see!

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I admit I'm being a bitch about things but there is a warning at the top.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
I was totally shocked when I found out V'lane was a bad guy. I liked him at first but then when he turned I didn't

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
lol I saw that Britt. I can't believe they are making a book in his point of view. Ugh when will I stop hearing about this book.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I liked V'lane too. He'll, I bet most readers did. He's so charming and I agree with you, Melissa, that I think he really did love Mac.

Raquel, I'm going to go ahead and make a prediction and I've never touched one of those books. It will have long angsty monologs about how he wasn't loved as a child and all of this dominance is because he wasn't in control of his adolescence.

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments your haters gonna hate comment had me laughing hard, so did his plug comment. I don't why people need to get all rallied up when you don't like a book they do, sheesh

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments I just find it funny. Never get emotionally invested in an argument over the Internet.

And one day I will be able to do that bitch mode activated hair flip. Life goals.

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
I own the first book I got it as a gift I doubt if I will ever read it though. Maybe someone will get me to read it one day but it wont be soon ... and I feel that I will be saying the same thing Britt. It will be a very long rant

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
or just one word if I am to disgusted.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) | 169 comments This is why we're friends <3

Raquel (Rocki) (raquelrocki) | 219 comments Mod
1 more hour of work and then I get to go home and read! or pass out one of the two.

Melissa (melissabaez) | 127 comments Never read the book and don't plan on it, erotica and BDSM isn't my thing. I did watch the movie though and it was because I was walking down the stairs and I saw my mon watching it on tv. I'm like mom what in the world are you watching? She was like well I thought this was just some romance but then the guy got really weird and started showing her whips and tying her up. I just stated laughing hysterically and we ended up watching it together and making fun of the movie. She would close her eyes every time sex scenes appeared(she hates watching that). All I can say is she had her eyes closed far too many times.
