Broom in hand, hoping not to knock down any wand piles, Jade trooped in. "Mr. Ollivander, sir?!"
"Quiet, please," Ollivander's assistant hushed her, surrounded by many of those who called themselves Ollivander's friends. "We're having a funeral for the finest wandmaker who ever did live."
Tears pricked her sore eyes. The man was amazing, everybody loved his seemingly mysterious ways. A man like that can't simply die.... And what's going to happen to the shop?
As soon as that idea struck her, she gasped. She knew exactly what would happen.
((How can she get some sort of message to Eberts??))

((How can she get some sort of message to Eberts??))
((I would try reminding herself to tell him thanks for saving him later so that he knows to come in the past.Did that make any sense at all?))
((Ya, I get it.... Like Time Travel whatnot?))
To make it obvious:
Where's that man when I need him?...Gosh, I should tell him thank you the next time he saves my butt.

At that moment, Tesir seemed to materialize from the fireplace, snatch a bunch of wands, and was halfway out the door before he noticed Jade, dropped the wands, and clenched his fist (see, D was dangerous because he didn't have a personal vendetta besides his plan. Tesir is just as dangerous because he does).((Also I have to go))
((Bye))
Jade turned her head slightly, glimpsing Tesir. "Oh crap." She grabbed for a wand, any wand, and fumbled to get the lid off.
Jade turned her head slightly, glimpsing Tesir. "Oh crap." She grabbed for a wand, any wand, and fumbled to get the lid off.
By perhaps pure chance the particular wand she took had immediate empathy for her and blasted the box open itself.By perhaps pure skill Tesir navigated through the crowd of mostly elderly funeral attendees, injuring as he moved toward his target.
She aimed the wand, feeling a surge of pure power, and targeted at the beast, Jade yelled,"Stupefy!"
Tesir fell to the ground, but didn't stay there long. He threw a fireball onto the corpse of Ollivander, still stepping ever closer with obviously sinister motives.((How are you liking personal vendettas?))
Tesir groaned, falling again. "Someone's found out that it's just magic," Eberts grunted approvingly. Twelve flaming knives followed him in. "And you really must have hated that golden being to pain him so."((You have to FEEL it.))
Tesir's dragon DNA eventually overcame the cruciatus curse and the golden being rose, bursting into flame. Eberts limped forward, dropping his wooden cane. Barely able to walk, he burst into a hellish blaze himself, old magic against relatively new magic. "Thank me later," he told Jade as though the fate of the world depended on it.
That was about when goblins started firing illegal weapons into the funeral attendees.
((I feel bad killing sad old people.))
You know, Jade fought wildly, letting Eberts do the heavy work. Oh, and she would thank him later.
The blazes of the two magicks met, sending sparks everywhere.Duncan, get to Ollivander's fast, Tesir thought as loudly as he could.
The weapons held by the goblins seemed to fire blasts that would seep into the wizards before exploding in a very killy way.
CRACK
D had materialized. "Would you stop getting distracted eliminating the Bell girl and focus on the task at hand?" he scolded Tesir. Then he aimed his wand squarely at Eberts's right foot.
"Ventus," he commanded, and a fist of air pushed Eberts's good foot from under him, placing all of his weight on his crippled foot.
He probably would have been okay if Tesir hadn't then picked up a wand, clenched it in his fist, and blasted golden energy into the old man. D turned his attention toward the wands, summoning a trunk and loading the wands in, deleting their cases to allow for more room.
Tesir turned his attention toward Jade, aiming golden energy at her head, still obtaining power from the wand.
Eberts carefully aimed the twelve daggers mentally. One of them flew into D's trunk, setting his wands alight. The other eleven had a similar mission, slicing or burning all the wands in the shop. D would have paused to kill the offending wand destroyer, but the massive release of magical energy was
"It's about to explode, what are you doing!?" D screamed at Tesir.
CRACK
They were gone, but the goblins were blocking the only exit and Eberts had been blasted by a magic totally unknown.
Eberts reached for a cane that had been badly burnt in the fighting and it crumpled in his grip. He stared fixedly at Jade. You can get out of here and save her too, but your secret would no longer be secret. You could leave her here to die and protect the secret, but Duncan may succeed.
That decided it. Eberts leapt nimbly to his feet and when said feet hit the ground he was 21. He sprinted towards the door, grabbing Lizzy by her collar on the way out, dragged her out the doorwhile pushing the goblins into the building, and slammed it behind them. Most of Ollivander's friends had made it out. The others had been injured by Tesir and were about to die by Eberts's actions to hold D's plan back.
When the wand shop exploded he was once more an old man with a very injured left leg. Leaning on walls, he hobbled into the nearest shop and slowly, unsteadily, found some metal-handled canes.
((Now, who isn't scared of THAT?))
Jade desperately wanted to start cussing wildly at what she just saw, but she refrained from doing so. She cleared her throat. "Um, Professor Eberts, sir, what was that exactly?"
"That was me saving your life," the teacher told her, leaning on the metal ball-headed cane. He made his way to the buying counter, stared the clerk right in the eye with his creepy, multicolored stare, and asked;"Would this be good for bludgeoning?"
"Not safe here," he hissed at her.The clerk had run away by now. He left some sickles on the counter and began the trek away, leaning heavily on his new cane.
