I have Jess- Slytherin- 6th year if anyone's interested in anything basically
I have Ruby Potter- Gryffindor- 4th year.
Daniella Dominus-Slytherin-5th year. Read her profile on student character creation.
I have Alice Longbottom-Ravenclaw-7th year. In my bio I claimed she was close with Rose due to them both being bookish. But other than that, she'd be friends with anyone she believes won't stab her in the back.
I'm good with Rose and Alice being friends- I'm about to post on your library starter.
Maybe friends? He could always catch her pulling a prank. XD or sneaking out or something. haha

Rubes (pronounced roobs) would be cute. And connor could call her Min or Minnie when he feels like annoying her, because her middle name is Minerva. XD

The One Eyed witch passage is the secret passage to Hogsmeade. Ruby would have probably told him it and would be a bit of a show off. XD
