Though a very kind-hearted person, Hanna has a fiery soul. Her family and her religion are very important to her, and she will stand up for them at any cost. She loves children and animals, and often takes stray pets into her home to nurse them back to health. She is an avid reader and writer, and enjoys singing hymns. Her innocence and manners come from her strong Jewish upbringing, as they are very devout and she often wears her Star of David around her neck. She is, however, curious about the rest of the world, and actively studies other countries and religions, and watches people who sing and dance, and has a great fascination with those outside her religion. Her parents do not approve her interests, but are lenient, as they trust her to find her own way
