2017 Reading Challenge discussion

This particular book wasn't all the way at the bottom of my reading list, but it was the third book I found on Good Reads to add to my reading list. My local library had a copy, so I used this novel for the category.
Unfortunately, I ended up giving it two stars. I love mysteries and any book set in Great Britain. This book had potential, but the only exciting parts were the beginning and the last few chapters when the mystery is solved. There are clues and answers found along the way through the middle of the book, but it wasn't enough to keep the story moving at a good pace. And the improbability of how the mystery ends up being solved is more than I could take seriously. I'm willing to set aside a bit of reality during a fiction book, but it was too much.
This one ended up having a good reason to be close to the bottom of my list.
