2015 Summer Beach Reads

I've got a short trip to Fire Island and a longer trip to Cape Cod coming up this summer. Plus, a few kid-free weeks in between which means long, lazy evenings of undisturbed reading. I'll be listening to Saint Mazie, narrated by the fantastic Tavia Gilbert (a recent Oprah pick, I hear), and in print, on the beach (in hardcover, even!) - In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume.
I have a covered deck with a porch swing that I call my "summer reading room". I made a pile of all the books I bought over the year and haven't got to so far and I'm trying to plow through as many as I can while the weather is nice. There's nothing like reading outside while the birds are singing and the air is soft and warm.Plus, you don't see the laundry that has to be folded or the dishes that need to be done.
