The residency of one of the Kings of Ill. It is a large dark castle glittering with frost and well-placed 'statues' in the courtyard and many gardens. There is a constant chill in the air even in the warmest of rooms. Many of these elegantly dresses rooms are open for any of its faerie servants, passer-bys, or visiting diplomats from other Kings. The former Ill King's room is kept in secret, but the current King had a new extravagant place built for him. The mood is always light and occasionally festive, but there is an incessant constrictive feeling warning many from acting out of turn to infuriate the new Ill King.

Rin walked calmly through the hallway with her back straight and head held high. Her white hair flowed down her back and her shoes clicked against the cool marble. She stopped at a window and let her cool and calm eyes wander over the field of frosted grass and statues. She smoothed out the wrinkles of her midnight black dress as she sat on the sill. She twisted her black ebony necklace around her fingers as she watched her sister, Maxine, laze on the grass. She smiled to herself.

After spending most of the day discussing borders with his adviser, something that the Ill King particularly hated, he was more than glad to have time left over to wander through the halls. Soleil adjusted the collar of his clothes as he slid through the hallways, stepping so lightly he might as well not have been touching the floor.
His crimson eyes scanned the halls and occasionally examined the cool glass windows. They revealed a clear view of the front of the castle, which he was eager to replace. He figured stained glass would look just as nicely and keep those inside from seeing the abhorrent statues outside. They were merely the ones who froze in clothing he did not like or had annoying expressions.
The Ill King's red orbs passed over a few of these crystallized figures before returning to the halls where he noticed a silver-haired figure standing towards the window. It took him a moment more to identify her and, upon following her gaze, the similar looking girl lounging on the frosted glass. Soleil brought a smile to his lips as he approached her, putting on a kind persona. 'It seems like you and your sister have adjusted well since you've lived here, Rin,' he began, leaning gently against the side of one window. He flickered his eyes at her sibling before looking back at the female Fey. 'I hope you have enjoyed your time at my palace.'

Rin turned her head calmly and saw the Fey King of Ill and smiled sweetly "Yes we are quite enjoying our Majesty's wonderful hospitality. Except the way you keep the fields frosted all year around never ceases to amaze me" she said truthfully before looking back at her sister "or Maxine for that fact". She stood up as it would've been rude to sit while the King stood with no seat "And how has His Majesty's day been so far?" she asked respectfully, putting on her trademark sweet, innocent and slightly flirtatious smile. One that had been known to tempt men to their deaths.

Maxine lazed on the frosted lawn with her hands behind her head, looking up and the blue sky. Her hair was in a severely tight braid, as per usual, and she sported her signature black overalls with a white blouse. She sighed as she stared out on the vast expanse of the sky. Her ever wandering eyes became bored so she sat up and teleported next to one of the statues in the lawn. This one was a woman who was frozen in a stance of terror. She looked as if she was a beautiful Fae when she was alive. Maxine tossed her hair and started walking to another statue "Not as beautiful as me" she said vainly to herself while twirling a strand of her hair around her finger.

Hearing her compliments, the King smiled graciously. 'I am glad you're enjoying your stay. But yes, my magic is rather extensive. It doesn't take much energy to keep the weather cold.' Well, he preferred to think of it that way. Spending days at a time sleeping wasn't how he liked to spend his time but it was worth keeping everything frozen. There were things that were better kept immobile than allowed to run around and live. He let out a sigh when she asked him about his day before shrugging. 'Tedious. I'm not one for discussing borders,' he replied. He looked at Rin a little more closely, glad that he had allowed someone with lovely features into his palace. Originally he had been hesitant, as he was never one to care about younger children, but his investment seemed to have payed off. Her and her sister being from a noble family helped his image as well and he was glad about that. Though, he was sure they were much more thankful towards him than vice versa.

Rin nodded slightly "I have never been in such a situation, but I give Your Highness my empathy" she said graciously with a hint of a smile. She looked out at the field of frozen statues "I admire that His Majesty hasn't yet disposed of his frozen prisoners". If she were in his place, most of them would have been long dead by know. She smirked as she saw her vain sister comparing herself to one of the beautiful frozen women. She looked back at the King "I see you keep your spouses in good condition" she said sweetly, referring to the frozen woman, aiming to ease the King's tense mood.

(( sorry, i wasn't sure what i wanted to write for this ))

Sol smiled thankfully before following her gaze. His eyes narrowed somewhat when he looked upon the statues, half-hearing what she was saying. Her words reminded him that he did need to dispose of a few and store the others. It would take some time but eventually it had to be done.
'I find it hard to destroy beauty. And, they fit a better role as decorations.' He noticed with amusement as Rin's younger sister moved away from a statue with a fearful look and smiled. 'Though, I think I might need to weed a few of them out. Especially the ones who are not quite as pleasant looking.'

((Lol it's kinda my fault))

Rin nodded and looked out at the many statues. Where she looked at them closer, she realised the did have imperfections. One woman's nose was a millimetre to big, a man's tie wasn't tied correctly. She smiled at the king "I do find looking at imperfections that haven't been dealt with quite irritating, however the ice does make them appear somewhat angelic" she said "Ice has that effect" she said admiringly. She wished that she could at least control a power as beautiful as her sisters. However, she was stuck with darkness, for now.
